Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I partly agree except to me he’s more like a Celtic version of James Traynor/Keith Jackson He writes exactly what his readers want to read It’s usually very appealing to the intended audience and lots of it isn’t 100% confirmed just suggested or implied, and later when it doesn’t come true, detractors mock while supporters say that the author never really said it the way we inferred.
The one today is an article, as ever, full of speculation. This time most of it is transfer related.* Yet, it's apparently something that wouldn't appear in papers here and the only reason we can learn about the earth shattering notion that Brendan Rodgers might not want Mikey Johnston to go to Hibs, while he wouldn't mind if Scott Allen went, is if 'a journalist in another country' writes about it. Please proceed immediately to the donate buttonReally, dear reader, you're of course entitled to spend your money on whatever you like and if you think that's worth your hard-earned cash, then fair enough, it's up to you. Mr David Cunningham King might admire the chutzpah. *The details on the calls from south of the Limpopo stuff is, of course, wonderful work and we'll no doubt see the evidence of this on the 12th of Never. i think his hit rate is definitely less than would have been expected by chance alone.

Club 1872 given 7 days to confirm how much they can spend on shares
Spoiler: click to toggle 7 June, 2018 Club 1872 has now been formally invited to participate in the upcoming share issue of RIFC and asked to confirm the level of our investment in this issue by close of business on June 14th, 2018.
The total current funding available to the organisation, across both shares and projects, is approximately £960,000. Club 1872 members are now being polled on whether they wish to designate the share issue as a project – in order to be able to utilise this full sum for the share issue.
Once we know the outcome of this poll and the level of the additional funds raised this week, Club 1872 will confirm its level of investment to RIFC on 14th June.
Club 1872 Director Laura Fawkes said:
“We now have only seven days to confirm the level of our investment and we hope the Rangers support will respond over the coming days. This is a fantastic opportunity for supporters to invest directly into the club and see those funds help to build Steven Gerrard’s playing squad for next season.”
“In addition it is an absolutely vital investment for Club 1872 to continue to maintain or grow our shareholding to secure the club for future generations.”
“99.9% of the six thousand or so small supporter shareholders will not be invited by RIFC to participate in this share issue. We would ask them and any other supporters who have not yet signed up to Club 1872 to do so before 14th June. Particularly via the annual donation option which will maximise our investment in this issue.”
“There is also a one-off donation option on the website where anyone, whether they are a member or not, can contribute. 100% of the funds we receive through this method will go straight into Rangers via this issue.” They really are moronically stupid

Looks like they've managed to offload Pena to another Mexican outfit until January. WTF is a sub-loan? Sub-let?

The Huns I share an office with are banging on about Vidal Sassoon, Vaporize and 32 Red...how many fecking sponsors are they going to have? perhaps their new top is going to be modelled on a F1 racing car. Mobile billboards , or in Alves's case - static billboard.

Just you transfer us that money to us, and we will give one of you a blazer and a tie... I don't think even a blazer and a tie are promised. Do they have any representation on the Board and if not, wouldn't now be a good time to demand it as a condition of participation in the "investment".*
* Investment means, according to the Huns Ibrox dictionary: noun, the result of throwing away your money with restless abandon while having no expectation of getting any return on it whatsoever.

Signing players that wouldn't get near our side is an interesting way of going for 55.
I don't know why they keep doing this, but I'm not re peepil & just don't understand. The feckers are going for one and they aren't going to get that anytime soon.

Huns reckon we’re going to refuse tickets for Ibrox, yet still give them their full allocation due to us not being able to sell out our stadium
Apparently they only started losing fans after big Ed slammed in the third at their midden.
Must have imagined the 5K waiting list we’ve got.

Huns reckon we’re going to refuse tickets for Ibrox, yet still give them their full allocation due to us not being able to sell out our stadium Apparently they only started losing fans after big Ed slammed in the third at their midden. Must have imagined the 5K waiting list we’ve got. Until French Eddie scored that winner they had managed to convince themselves they were on our level.
The wonderful thing for them this season is that because Ge55ard hasn't actually done anything yet and the GASL has turned into the footballing Donald Trump, they can project whatever they want on to the club for next season and convince themselves it's all gonna be OK because Mr Ge55ard will do whatever they want.
Right now, they're a happy bunch of dogs eating out of a nappy.
But they're going to have to play football at some point and back it up.
That's when it may get complicated.
We may as well continue to offer them their old allocation at Celtic Park. It'll be far less upheaval and will be easier to reset the situation when the inevitable happens to ticket demand at Ibrox. We wouldn't have any problem selling out the extra tickets for the matches against them though. Anyone with a special season book will attest to how tough it is to get a ticket for those matches.
GASL is playing fast and loose with Sevco's biggest income stream. Changing the season book market by suddenly offering thousands more and making tickets for games against us easy to get will cost them in reduced demand eventually unless all the current hubris is realised as tangible success.
Mind you, they're not the stupidest support in football for nothing. The Club 1872 bit is proof of that. Their million quid won't be on the pitch next season, it'll be in the wallet of one of their directors most likely.
