The big game he got dropped for was Man U at Anfield. He came at half time and got sent off about 30 seconds later for a vile stamp. Carrot has some nerve to complain about that.
correct

he apologised to players, manager and fans afterwards

then later he lay the blame at rodgers' door for making him angry by not starting him
Gerrard always was an absolute fanny. I'd love it if he took the hun job and Brendan skelped him back down the road.

I read it the other way round but I also noticed that they kind of hinted that the directors get paid for running Club 1872 as well???

Why would anyone with any sense set up a direct debit to that mob when they are quite clearly not working for the benefit of the members but are only working for the benefit of the current board.

They are not holding the board to account even though they are one of the largest shareholders.
Talk about having a subservient nature!!!
There is no record of directors of Club1872 receiving payments , Wham Gloves is not a director but "Admin expenses" run at around £45K pa. :twitch:
Club1872
Wham Gloves earning nearly double young Master Bates ?

Murty could probably put together a decent book from his time at Ibrox. Of course his profile isn’t exactly the highest so it’s doubtful any publisher would bother offering him a book deal. I’ve always felt that’s part of the reason Sevco, under King, have avoided managers that anyone has heard of or cares about. If they were to appoint someone like Gerrard and it inevitably goes wrong he’d have book and tv offers on the table before the ink has dried on his P45.

Wham Gloves is being paid by Sevco to assist Club1872. How awesome is that :chuffed:
No, he's not.

Club1690 are paying the salary of the baboon's arse faced, racialist cartoonist for the privilege of assisting Sevco

Mugs :lolhuns:
I see that there is much debate in Rangers cyberspace as to whether Chris Graham has an office at Ibrox and a sponsored car. Also talk that Craig Houston gets a wage from Ibrox.

No idea if this is true but jaw-dropping if it is.

I’ve never thought Gerrard would be anywhere near the hun and still don’t. The timing of the story bang on cue. The hordes about to get another slap down.

Was it only a few months ago Murty had them challenging for the title, and about to beat us at Ibrox?

Some headlines to remind us that it was.

'Graeme Murty’s Rangers rise has shades of Walter Smith’s appointment as manager, says Mark Hateley' The Sun, 2 March 2018

'Walter Smith has helped me turn Rangers around - Graeme Murty' Daily Record, 16 Dec 2017

'Rangers squad already strong enough to challenge Celtic for the title insists James Tavernier' Daily Record, 15 Feb 2018

'Rangers 2-0 Hearts: Graeme Murty plays down talk of title challenge' BBC, 24 Feb 2018

'Graeme Murty: Dressing room roar proves Rangers are up for the Old Firm challenge' Evening Times, 5 March 2018

Don’t forget

“It is important to concentrate on the remainder of this campaign – the Scottish Cup and maintaining a challenge at the top of the Scottish Premiership – and with Graeme now in charge until at least the end of the season, he and the players can tackle the challenges ahead with renewed confidence and belief.” Rangers International Football Club, 22 Dec 2017.

So that was another glib and shameless lie then. :lolhuns:

Sevco had one chance to get Gerrard and one only; a whirlwind romance full of empty promises and outright lies culminating in him signing his soul away before he realised just what exactly it was he was getting into.

I am sure now that it won't happen for the simple fact that Gerrard is waiting for guarantees on a 'warchest' which doesn't exist. This talk of a warchest hasn't originated from his side of the talks, you can be sure. That's pure King vernacular, but the fact that people close to Gerrard are repeating it, gives you some insight into the kinds of moonbeams shot out of their holes in order to try and lure him. Even if he would have been interested in the job regardless, it's going to sour his impressions having been lied to and so I think that once the guarantee fails to materialise in any meaningful form; he'll wish them well and look elsewhere.

The big (and hilarious) question after that is who do Sevco turn to, given that fans expectations aren't exactly in line with the kind of persona they can afford? :lolhuns:

it will be nice for the guy that eventually gets the gig to know he was behind McInnes , Clarke and an under 18 coach with no top level managerial experience . I'm half expecting it to appear on Universal Jobmatch soon , minimum wage.

That is NOT Davie Hay in the Sevco director’s box, and I seriously doubt that woman is his wife.
Granted that guy bears a passing resemblance to Davie, but if you expand the photie, you can tell it isn’t him.

Think about it, why would Davie Hay, one of our club ambassadors, be sitting with that shower ?
Isn’t he more likely to be in our directors’ box, at our ground, wearing our club blazer & tie ?

I have just wandered on here on a catch up but that is most definitely Davie and his wife Catherine.

I was with him at Firhill last night. - His Grandson Vincent is a keeper with Celtic Under 15's.

As to sitting Davie sitting with huns - "I have only been at one away league game this season - i went to Ibrox as they were getting way above themselves and it was annoying me so I wanted to bring them back down to earth" :rocker:

Davie has a take on playing the huns which is straight out of the Ten Thirty book - "I used to say to the huns if you want to play us at football we will beat you, if you want to take us on in a battle bring it on you will get beat then to"   :rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

My first Celtic hero and still one of the Very Best of Celtic Men is Davie. :worthy:

Edit as an aside the nick of McLeish - Dressing up for the occasion Eck??? Ffs rolls up with his Great Auntie's scarf as if he is a makeshift Pep or Mancini except somebody forgot to tell the ship jumping :carrot: that he is from Barrhead not Catalonia or Italy and it was a sunny warm day at the end of April - FUD!!! :lolhuns:
