Hummel recognises a cash sow when they see it.

'YOU TEASE!' Rangers Hummel strip – Orange kit hint from new suppliers and supporters are loving it
The Danish brand officially became technical sponsors of the Ibrox club today as Steven Gerrard kicks off his managerial reign
Spoiler: click to toggle
Shouldn't the press be asking why an orange strip is such an issue for them?
I don’t think so.

The less people who give a flying eff the better. It’s the pishiest giruy going. Although if we responded with a kit based on a black army jumper with nylon elbow pads and epaulettes I’d be happy......

The mere fact that their kit is being made by Hummel says it all about them just now. Small time. Look at the list of teams with Hummel kit, hardly stellar :

Apparently their jerseys fall apart after one wash... should last about a year then for your average Hun.

How did Stevie G day go by the way?

I just didn’t hear anything anywhere & I was led to believe it was going to be a pretty big deal.
He did not turn up. Such commitment. Meet the background staff on day 1. Say hello. Set expectations. Nope not yet.

Buying a house up here?- nope

Missus moving up? - nope

Kids booked into a nice WOS private school? - nope.

Regular trips back south? I would bet yes soon

There is nothing like true commitment?

The orange strip is pathetic, so imo batter in. I hope they continue with this girfuy because otherwise they are being less than truthful about what they really are. A laughing stock, out of date, sick and dying.

I only found out with the advent of spellcheck, couldn't understand why it kept on trying to correct it.

It is however a valid and accepted word in the English lexicon... as is oxter, it's just we're the only ones to use them.
Yep,

Sometimes when writing formal company letters it’s best to depersonalise them. I used to get identified as the author, by the use of ‘outwith’.

‘Timeous’ was another perculiarly formal Scottish marker word.

Signing off ‘Yours faithfully (ya dobber) , was also sometimes a give away.
I remember when I first moved to London 20y ago and started using Microsoft Word
I showed my new colleagues that there was something wrong -“ it keeps saying ‘outwith’ is spelt wrong, can you believe it?” I asked
Their look told me that clearly I was insane and they asked me “what is it, what does it mean?”
I was flabbergasted that such a common word (to me) was 100% unknown in london

It is used in England, as in "outwith the realms of possibility".

One would think after the Sports Direct/Puma debacle they have been cold-shouldered by the big boys in this market.

David Leask having a wind up in Herald -
"Everybody knows the back story of the blue half of Scotland’s Old Firm. The club’s “oldco”, The Rangers Football Club PLC, went bust in 2012. In a move which still lights up social media and radio phone-ins, an off-the-shelf business called Sevco Scotland Limited was renamed The Rangers Football Club Limited and took the old business’s membership of the Scottish Football Association. I think they've missed at least one Hummel strip on that list.

One the huns would probably love as well

More sponsors logos than a Formula 1 car. Looks awful for that alone, never mind the colour.

It’s mostly “outside the realms...” down south. If you google that phrase it’s mostly Scottish writers who use it
