Crystal Palace: £3.5million for Tavernier. Gerrard: He's going nowhere. Mmm. STICK AROUND Rangers boss Steven Gerrard tells Josh Windass and James Tavernier they’re ‘going nowhere’ this summerSunSport exclusively revealed how Burnley and Cardiff City are interested in signing Windass while Crystal Palace have made Tavernier a transfer target this summer Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor STEVEN GERRARD has told Josh Windass and James Tavernier they are going NOWHERE this summer, according to reports. SunSport exclusively revealed last month how the pair are transfer targets for English Premier League sides. Burnley are set to go head-to-head with newly-promoted Cardiff City for Windass. While we revealed Crystal Palace’s interest in Tavernier as they line up a £3.5million move for the defender. But new Rangers boss Gerrard is reportedly determined to keep the pair at Ibrox and has personally told them this. According to the Daily Record, the Liverpool legend flew out to Dubai last month to meet Windass while he was on holiday. And he reportedly told the 24-year-old to concentrate on playing for Rangers next season. Gerrard has also apparently taken the step of telling Ibrox director of football Mark Allen NOT to encourage bids for Windass or Tavernier this summer. Meanwhile, the new boss is currently in France where he has been watching the Toulon Tournament as part of his Uefa Pro-Licence. SunSport reported how he is also scouting possible transfer targets while he is in the country. Gerrard said: “While here I want to kill two birds with one stone. “I want to see what talent is there, if there’s anyone who interests me.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2727831/rangers-steven-gerrard-josh-windass-james-tavernier/ Roy, a mananger who is known for setting his teams up to be difficult to be beat.
‘Tavs’, a defender who is known for being unable to defend in the SPFL.
This is borderline Morelos £13m stuff.

I hope that story about Windass and Taverner is true -- it's the first evidence we've seen that Gerrard hasn't a clue.

Hummel recognises a cash sow when they see it. 'YOU TEASE!' Rangers Hummel strip – Orange kit hint from new suppliers and supporters are loving itThe Danish brand officially became technical sponsors of the Ibrox club today as Steven Gerrard kicks off his managerial reign Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor RANGERS fans are excited after Hummel hinted at an orange kit on Twitter. The Danish brand officially became technical sponsor to Gers today after agreeing a three-year deal in April. They took to Twitter to confirm the news as they wrote: “Today we become official Technical Sponsor to Rangers FC. “Soon, Steven Gerrard and the team will return for pre-season and will wear our iconic chevrons. “Our journey together will then truly begin..” But eagle-eyed supporters spotted a hidden cryptic message within the GIF hinting an orange kit. As the post flickers, the Rangers badge and Hummel logo turn orange leading many fans to believe they will soon be releasing an orange top. @IL_Official said: “Yassss get the orange tap ooot” and @NaefearRFC said: “You tease!” @Brucers9 added: “Great work – a proper ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ hint. The future’s bright….” and @4_menhadadream wrote: “Oh Hummel I see what you did there.” The sports brand have also changed their Twitter template to orange after the post. The news comes following a fan’s email where he demanded an orange strip. Stores in Turkey were also spotted selling an orange Hummel kit after a mock-up had been made online. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2723637/rangers-kit-release-hummel-orange-top/ Imagine pepers printing that shampoo like its a good thing. So the reason stevie g is in Toulon is that he hasn’t gotten his pro license yet and part of the course is to study an international tournament Mark Warburton all over again.

How did Stevie G day go by the way?
I just didn’t hear anything anywhere & I was led to believe it was going to be a pretty big deal.

Mark Warburton all over again. I don't think Gerrard will have a clue, but coaching badges are a bit overrated. Zidane was assistant at Real and managing Real B without his pro license. UEFA just likes to feel relevant I think. It's not like having a pro license is going to make someone a half decent manager if they wouldn't have been anyway.

Stevie G not got his coaching badges ergo can’t be manager? Which may be why the stories of McAllister taking the training and organising all things football are being talked about.
McAllister has already stated that he is not Gerrards No2, he is his assistant.
Maybe McAllister in the dugout and Gerrard in the stands, like teh waistcoat done sometimes.

Tried everything else, so their latest tactic of trying to wind up the Tims at every level seems to be their last throw of the dice. The vast majority of our squad wouldn’t see any significance in them turning up in an Orange strip. They’d just set about pumping them yet again regardless of what attention seeking crap they were parading in.
