I think that King has boxed clever here by putting pressure on the SPFL shining the spotlight on his perceived injustice means that if the SPFL punish Rangers to the fullest extent in relation to the compliance officer charges meaning stripped titles, fines etc. Then he will fortify the current stance. This just makes it harder fr the SPFL to punish them appropriately for their blatant cheating as well as making it extremely difficult to deny them a European licence. He is ramping up the pressure on them with deflection tactics in a similar way the SPL used the "social unrest" tool to try to shoehorn them into the Premiership the last time they were this deep in the brown stuff.

According to FF they have a new PR team.

ChacePR @ChacePR
PR company created by @stephenkerr1974 in December 2017

Guy used to work with Traynor at Level5 and left. Now supposed to be the new PR guy and taking his lead from club 1872.

Granted football represents more than simply a game, but these roasters can't see past much more than Scottish football as a vehicle to obliterate their way of life. I visit their boards from time to time. You wouldn't come away with anything more nuanced about their club than "There's bastards everywhere." No sense of an actual football club that appreciates football. Remarkable stuff. It can't be good for your blood pressure.

Thought rangers didn't want pointless investigations and wasting of money that should be spent on grass roots football etc.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep“To be definitive, a non-executive position on a PLC does not constitute a business relationship between that individual and a minority shareholder in the company and therefore no investigation is warranted.”
That was about MacLennan, and the minority shareholder was Desmond, who has a 15% stake in INM.
So DD has 15% of a company and is seen as a minor shareholder but King with his 15% of the huns is their owner? :cuckoo:
He isn’t the owner.

They can go and play in the Junior Leagues where they'd actually stand a chance of a title push.
Auchinleck Talbot would have some say in that, I kid you not.

So the story is now the SPFL meeting gadgie said Shifty McGifty has been made a NED of some company. The assembled meeting said “that’s nice dear” and went back to sleep. If that’s true eff ‘em all the useless bastards.

I'm not quibbling about whether they own it or not.

King is a person with significant control as are the members of his crooked concert party.

Edit: You can quibble about the "technical label" and whether they own it. They are the major shareholders and control RIFC and by extension control the club TRFC. (as long as they have the fans backing, that is unlikely to change and long may it last)
