Some beauts out the night “This O'Brien is also possibly a major shareholder and not a minor one. A quick google of Desmond and O’Brien shows their corrupt concluding bastards.” Dermot and Denis in conclave saying “the end” simultaneously.

King's no mug and I don't think he's given to putting out emotive statements just to vent, so there's obviously a reasoning behind this.

Suggestions include: Season tickets not selling, compliance officer shenanigans, director resignations (more to come?), soft loans due to be paid back, Euro license (I think that's been granted though), looming financial crisis, or something quite leftfield.

I'm looking forward to finding out!

That aside, two attacks on Scottish Football governing bodies in a week, tells me that they’re not getting their licence to play in Europe.
Yup, this sums things up for me.

Looks like a run-up to a statement similar to McCoist's way back when his allotment was just a few bags of seeds.

Quote:

I'm a Rangers supporter and the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are, people who are working for the SFA.

"Make no mistake about it, this is an SFA decision. They have appointed the panel so therefore they are working for the SFA, but who are they? I think we have a right to know who is handing out this punishment to us, I really do.

"Like everyone else involved – our team, our supporters, our staff and a lot of neutrals – I am staggered at the severity of the punishment. This decision could kill our football club, simple as that. Make no mistake about it. This panel is not totally to blame for the death of our football club if it happens but this particular decision could kill our football club," he added.

"You would hope there would be sympathetic ears within the SFA over an appeals process, but you just don't know what is coming next. It is complete and utter guesswork. In terms of our supporters, again they have received another kicking and we just feel it's time to start fighting back. You can guarantee we will be fighting back."

I thought Euro licenses were being granted on 31 May?

But, I agree. There is something going on in the background with the amount of squirrels being thrown around.

Maybe I'm misremembering something, I thought that speculation had been put out to pasture, but I'd love for it to be true

I definitely get the feeling that he’s consciously creating a narrative that there is an SFA/SPL bias in our favour which creates an irreconcilable difference with Rangers, leaving him no other option than to do the deeply staunch ‘Walking Away’.

He knows his goose is cooked and the myriad problems they have can no longer be wriggled out of as time is running out on all levels, they’ll still think he’s the messiah as it’ll be level 5’d to make him look like a martyr to the cause.

That's a nice idea, but you're crediting him with craftiness he doesn't have.

Too many people go looking for grand plans that don't exist.

Close brothers loansharks banging on the door and I think you've nailed it.

Like TGEF....He is front loading money to try and finance incoming players that Gerry fae Liverpool may want, and banking/hoping on lost revenue from the games against us being filled by the UEFA 'progress' money.
Trouble is.....no guarantees, its fitba' and he's given the reigns to an under 18 coach.
Its admin by Christmas for this bear.

Why the tantrums, Dave?

The Takeover Panel ? The Court Of Session ? Directors calling in their loans ? Directors resigning - Park, Surrender, No ? Stevie Ge55ard having second thoughts ? The SFA's Compliance Officer and Resolution 12 ? The coming season's UEFA License ? Season Ticket sales ? Auditors walking away ? Safety Certificate for Ibrokes ? The Hummel deal ? Cash draining away ? The mythical share issues? Close Brothers ? EBT recipients claiming money from the 'club' ? Mike Ashley & Sports Direct ? Jimmy the bus driver demanding a pay rise because he's gonna have to work with a Fenian Scouser ?

So many issues ? :ponder:

:lolhuns:

AFAIR, there was speculation that, while it had been forwarded to Uefa by the SFA, there was an advisory attached.

'If they want a fight King will give them a fight' said the huns. Kings problem is that no one is bothered, and his record at fighting is of a man who storms in all guns blazing, only to be knocked spark out.

They have had so many chances and yet here they are. A despised laughing stock who are making sure when the shampoo hits the fan they have no friends at all. Laughable.

Maybe baseless rumours, maybe not.

"And the former players are slowly producing side letters that say club, not company responsible for any taxes"
What a bloomin mess. Terrific stuff to come, methinks: aye but we are the same club, but we don't have to pay these taxes cos that's the holding company blah blah. When do we get the Barry article saying that if Rangers are the same club, they need to pay my tax bill?
