Anyone would think their leaking transfer silly transfer stories to that Laptop Loyal was an epic fail given the way the Huns have reacted since being embarrassed

someone recognised Michael O'Hallaran?

honestly, he could walk into my house wearing an altar boys vestement with hun socks , shouting " my name is Michael O'Hallaran, and I play for Sevco after going to Mass", and I still wouldn't have a feckin' clue who he was.
I think that would say more about you than him.
If he walked into my cupboard I wouldn’t know him. So what does that say about me ?

Half the hun team are non entities and I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Was there not a rule that a percentage of your ground had to be made available for public sale thus limiting the amount of season books that could be sold? I guess not if both of us are planning to do this.

I'm in 115 so I presume I'll be given first refusal on my seat against Sevco . Which is nice.

I remember last year (I think) reading a statement from the Police saying that they would not allow any cut to our allocation due to segregation issues. Have they commented this time?

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Police said ‘no’ - which would be expected by the Huns - and King/Jabba issued another ‘we tried to do what you want, but everyone’s against us’ statement.

Never understood this though. Are they saying we can police 800 hibs fans but not 800 Celtic? Must be easier to police 800 away fans than 7500 even if they are a bit closer to home fans.

I thought it may be due to the increased policing needed outside the stadium and, maybe, in the concourse?

No doubt the Police will be looking after themselves, but if they say it’s unsafe, the safety folk would have to listen to them.

Am I supposed to be upset that they've decided to produce an orange strip? Because I'm not.
No one sensible is remotely upset about it. We are all laughing at the desperation of it.

Yes. Dependent on visiting team staking claim to up to 20%. Celtic have acted quickly and cleverly to this sudden reduction in ticket allocation (clearly prepared for the potential of the rangers board to score this financial own goal). They can now sell additional tickets to Celtic fans without the necessity of increasing season ticket allocation. Thus favourable outcome for Celtic while the rangers 2012 lose around 500k long term by pandering to fan lunacy in the short term.

As ever, they're cutting off their nose to spite their face. Announcing headline-attracting "victories" to keep the gullibilly boys cheering and handing over their dosh while behind the scenes chaos ensues as directors continue to abandon the sinking ship.

No greater motivation will Brendan need at the first Ibrox match than to refer to this nonsense and invite the players to put on a fitting display for the extra few thousand Sevconians who will be there to watch....

I think you're looking at it from the wrong perspective. I guess it's easier to police 42k raging sevconians than 49k

I’m content as long as King is our rival we will be King.

During the years they were winning there was no demand for our allocation to be cut. They probably had more or less same amount of season ticket holders. Capacity is probably larger now as well.
Now when they are rank there is this demand for season tickets and they need to cut allocation, turn it up Dave.
Basically saying stop coming to our gaff and laughing at us.

They banned Celtic fans completely in 1994.

Logic surely suggest that not only is it easier to police a smaller away support that has been reduced to a tenth of its previous size, but that the policing bill that comes with it is also likely to be a lot smaller.

So they increase season ticket numbers and expect demand to go up?

They make single game tickets against us much less scarce and expect demand to go up?

They make their family section season books dearer and expect demand to go up?

King is a genius, he's defying the basic laws of economics.

Sadly the same applies to us, though it ought not to hit us as hard. We aren't as dependent on ticket revenue (though it's still very important) and still have the carrots of access to Champions League tickets and a winning team generally to maintain the aura around having a season ticket.

The only way this decision makes economic sense for Sevco is if they get a wildly disproportionate uptick in season book demand and it hits our bottom line to the point we can't make it into the Champions League so we drop to their level in the longer term.

However, I maintain my position that King is Hanlon's Razor personified, it's not some cunning plan, it's stupidity.
