Yesterday: Phil has no new information about Sevco's pursuit of Skrtel

Today: Once Skrtel's agent has come out and said publicly that there was a chat but they couldn't afford him, Phil rocks up with the inside info. Phil's info amounts to the same thing, of course, but he throws in some completely unverifiable facts just to make it seem like he's "reporting information", as opposed to making up pish.

And he signs off with "This now resembles and unethical longitudinal study that is testing the limits of credulity in a selected population."

The effing balls of this guy. I actually almost respect the hussle.

"Well Wayne, good news! We've had two offers, DC United from Washington, and Glasgow Rangers from, errrrr, Govan, anyhow,
DC are offering a multi-million pound contract and a mansion in the capitol's suburbs, with a Range Rover Overfinch thrown in, the mighty Rangers are offering £5000 a week, a nice semi masonette in Bishopbriggs. Mr Park is throwing in a genuine 15 plate Ford Mondeo Titanium X 2.2D. Only 60,000 miles on the clock, it's ex Lex Autolease! So which club do you want us to go for?"
And if you decide to go to Rangers, they will get wee Billy to pick you up in the works van from the station. Just look out for a white van. He will be out doing the Greggs breakfast run, so can pick you up!!!

That picture of Senderos being delivered in the white van has to be one of the funniest pictures in their recent, newish, history
Can't remember which poster but it was along the lines of

What’s their supports issue with Davie Weir? I’ve noticed quite a lot of them seem to be getting worked up about his interview with Simon Ferry. As far as I could tell he didn’t say anything controversial so what’s their gripe? Are they fuming because he expected his contract to be honoured when him and Warburton got resigned?

I think he might have deviated from the party line on the continuity myth.

Not that I disagree on the Skrtel 'story', but would you be confident in stating that the Parks definitely won't be resigning come July?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
"Chief Strangler of Govan Towne" is his new title. A royal reward for his Kate & Wills embroidery, lovingly stitched by the mangled claw of Jimmy Bell.

That's what 100k a year gets you when you're Sevco.
“Lovingly stitched by the mangled claw of Jimmy Bell”, that had me in tears
Yeah I enjoyed that one in all

It really is hilarious watching their latest "new dawn" rise with all the expectations of the last however the many there effing were. Once again the gullible lap it up and set their sights on "getting Scott Brown". Really? Is Gerrard pulling the boots on?

I was talking to a Rangers fan today and he conceded that Celtic would almost easily get to 10 in a row. Gerrard, he reckoned, was all but a figurehead to sell tickets (not exactly a controversial view there) and possibly attract a few experienced mates of his to top up the pension pot. Fine, apart from the fact there is no cash to pay decent wages.

It all adds up to another instalment of the banter years, with added scouse nonsense.

Time for another bampots book

Same with me TS. The Rangers fan I know well believes that Gerrard is just a ruse to sell season tickets. He expects us to win. at least. 10 in a row.

Skint tramps and delusional fantasists

Martin Skrtel’s agent last night insisted the veteran’s move to Ibrox is dead in the water because Rangers are finding it ‘impossible’ to finance.

Slovakian deal maker Karol Csonto has confirmed his client was initially contacted by Steven Gerrard in the days before the Scouser was officially presented as the club’s new boss.

Talks had been ongoing ever since as Gerrard attempted to land his No.1 target but Csonto has now pulled the plug on those discussions ending any prospect of the 33-year-old leaving Fenerbahce for Scotland.

He has revealed Rangers only offered to pay his player a fraction of his £60k-a-week contract in Istanbul - and that, after holding talks with his Turkish counterpart, managing director Stewart Robertson could not get close to matching Fenerbahce’s price tag of around £5m.

After the revelation by Skrtels agent that there's less money in the democratic peoples republic of Sevconias trough than there is in Blackpool bears charity bank account, the inevitable thread has arisen on FF 'Are footballers just greedy barstewards?'

The OP intimates that when 'Mr Gerrard' calls you then talk of money is just crass, in defence of the less feeble minded on there, most are telling him he's naive at best.

Plainly the GASL, aided by the ranks of the laptoployal, has been filling billy's heid with wondrous tales of a bright new dawn in the hope that he'll renew his ST before the whole strategy is exposed as a sham.
The more discerning huns I guess won't have bought into the gerrard revolution just because an ageing shagger has rolled back up at aye-brokes on a free transfer.
Haven't seen anything in the SMSM about sevco season ticket sales. I can remember in previous years it was a fairly common boast from snake mountain that the ST sales were going like a fair, pictures of fat salary alongside dubiously scaled graphics of sales figures
But not a peep out of govan. No billy big bawz bragging about how the take-up in STs this year.
I don't think the GASL's induced false dawn approach has had much effect on getting the hordes to buy into another season of effin dung :lolhuns:
