It's not a tautology to repeat yourself. The grammatical error in question is humorously (and ironically) referred to as RAS syndrome (Redundant Acronym Syndrome... syndrome) . It's the same as when people say 'PIN number'. A tautology is effectively saying the same thing twice in different words, like 'fat obese man', or 'stupid hun'. In both cases the preceding adjective is unnecessary, as there's no such thing as a thin obese man, or a clever hun :lolhuns:

And don't get me started on the misuse of 'straw man' when it comes to vituperative 'debates' on the internet...

Edit: Sorry, just realised someone already made this joke with 'Rangers Scum'.
Unnecessary repetition (or redundancy) is a pleonasm - for example, "BFDJ is fat and overweight. Tautology is a statement, therefore requires a verb: for example "murder is fatal." In effect you're saying the same things twice (or more times) in both cases, so it's not worth pedantically splitting hairs. (See what I did there?)
Yes, very good!

He means Sevco, Torq.

At first I thought the same as Torquemada, then I realised swine can be plural as well as singular.

So that's the season over for us. Unfortunately, not so for the hun. We have the following issues to keep us ticking over this summer.

1. Hun response to compliance officer.

2. SFA enquiry.

3. Sevco running away with everything during close season.

4. First hack to predict Airnfield (I think that's his name) to get player of the year.

5. Duff and Phelps claim.

6. Them trying to sell 15 duds.

7. Jabba selling the Morellos on loan story.

8. The Share issue.

9. King's 20p share offer.

10. The launch of the new kit. Or maybe not.

Sky Sports running with a story that MON said yesterday that a strong Rangers would be good for Scottish football.
Why is it never a strong Aberdeen, Hibs or St Mirren?
Competition would be good for Scottish football.
Irks me as well!!

Not rocket science to figure out that we need to be playing stronger opponents week-in week-out.
But what does that have to do with Sevco? Kilmarnock are the most improved team lately.

Gerrard analysis by old timey English journalist Brian Glanville. He's not very complimentary if you're wondering.

I always enjoyed his football writing, many yeas ago as a child.

I had forgotten about him and think the last article I read by him was over 20 years ago.

Spells it out for what it is.

At the end of the day MOH is a hun

He became a hun the moment he signed that contract, took the hun pound, the club tie, trackie and visits to their fellow bigot brothers in Linfield to be pictured with a loyalist flute band.

CGAF if he's Catholic, a massive Tim, a long lost relative of Brother Walfrid.. he's a hun.
Worse than a Hun. One of us that want to get the better of us

I was looking back at the list of Scottish football champions on Wikipedia today. Ignoring the titles won through cheating/financial doping the hun haven't dominated Scottish football since the '30s. I'm defining dominated as winning 3 in a row. A strong hun isn't enough. They're not a big enough team, all things being equal and fair, to provide a consistent challenge. We need more than one team to every so often provide a challenge. Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have to step up if the game is going to prosper.

I wish we could erase the 90's and 00's from the Scottish football psyche. It has done much more damage to the game up here than I think people realise. It has created a myth that wont go away of a team who are our equal. They simply are not and it is unlikely they ever will. It should be a chilling fact to the hun that from when they started cheating with EBTs till the day the old club died they won 5 out of 12 championships. Cheating didn't even bring an equal share of titles. How do you think it's going to go when it's a fair fight, eh Billy?

We've played 61 competitive games , not including Internationals .
Between July and December its non-stop with games in league , league cup , Euro groups and internationals meaning most players are playing 2 games a week every week. And some want stronger opposition ?

We're bloody knackered by New Year , i demand weaker opposition !

Ah, the joys. Thank you, sir! :worthy:

We had an LP of some of their work and a relative gave me a book with some scripts of the shows. Can still remember hearing it on radio, but that was probably recordings and not live.

DOS EBTs started with Moore, Flo and De Boer from 1998 / 1999. The tax evasion years had begun.

Prior to that, Sir Minty borrowed, borrowed via his dodgy dealings with the Bank of Scotland, Masterton in particular.

It was always Other People's Money to create a "strong Rangers."

Financial doping and tax evasion created a "strong Rangers."

Cheating bastards.
