Lennon looks to replace Scott Allan and Dylan McGeouch
Halliday has already been told he’s got no future at the club under new boss Steven Gerrard with Gers eager to move him on

Surely not?
Can just imagine the rage from the Huns with this. Some of the Huns hate him so how will they cope if he goes to Easter Road?

He’s nowhere near good enough for Hibs.

I imagine that's just them shopping Halliday, and I wouldn't put it past the slug to make up the Hibs link just to have a pop at Lenny.

I’ve only really seen Halliday in the games against us, but he reminds a little bit of Willo Flood, in that it’s hard to believe someone pays him money to play football.

Hibs fans must be hoping this is a wind up.

There have been supporters asking questions about the European Licence being granted to Rangers for season 2011-2012 for years, and all they got was rubber eared by the SFA and the good old Scottish Media.

It will be interesting to see exactly what Rangers entered in their application regarding Tax outstanding. If they claimed that Tax outstanding from the wee tax case was being disputed or was still being negotiated so not due, then the SFA should face serious charges of incompetence or collusion. Quite simply, a call to HMRC would have cleared that up at the time.

If the charges are proven, then it cost Celtic a place in the Champions League qualifiers and I think Kilmarnock a place in Europe League.

Rangers might have failed to reach the League stages of both tournaments thanks to that superb Manager Ally McCoist, but they did
benefit from ticket sales from two home games they should not have had.

These are extremely serious charges.

It makes you wonder if maybe this was the major reason a certain Stewart Regan got out of Dodge.
As we speak I'm sure there's an army of SMSM churnalists beating a path to his door to find out if he knew this was coming down the pipe.
Remember his “ the bill hadn’t crystallised yet “ defense, and his e mail to Rangers looking for
approval of his intended statement should he be questioned on the outstanding tax bill, only
to be instructed by Rangers to say nothing.

The Res 12 guys have done an amazing job on this, but SFA are complicit in this fraud.

Regan is also on record of saying granting ended 31st March and with it SFA responsibilities and thereafter monitoring was down to UEFA.

The Traverso reply indicated a logical and procedural lacuna if this was what UEFA intended in that UEFA cannot monitor until they know who to monitor.

In 2011 the list of clubs granted a licence was sent to UEFA on 26th May. This was significant in terms of the HMRC letter of 20th May setting out the details justifying the demand but also a change of the basis on which SFA awarded the licence in April 2011.

This year the list of clubs granted a licence have to be with UEFA by 31st May.

You can hear Regan defend SFA in terms of SFA boundaries on SFM Page 23 under Auldheid May 16, 2018 at 11:44

Sorry they hyperlink does not take you to actual post but this one should take you to the page https://www.sfm.scot/to-comply-or-not-to-comply/comment-page-23/#comments

For those who like detail they can scroll up four comments on the same SFM page.

Willing to stand correcte if wrong, but this looks to me as if the SFA are in a bind here. UEFA know that the licence should not have been granted, so the SFA are now saying that the system basically relies on trusting clubs to make honest declarations of what they know. It seems that the SFA are saying they were lied to by the deid Huns, so the granting of the licence wasn’t the SFA’s fault. That would also cover the second charge of the Huns not being good members of the SFA.

UEFA. dealt with this by saying there was no need for action because the zombies were a new club. Again I might be wrong but wasn’t Regan cryptic about the same club pish, unlike Doncaster?

The zombie St. Atement is as others have pointed out another attempt at bullying and blackmail, so interesting times ahead.

Nothing would surprise me in terms of outcomes but there must be pressure coming from somewhere or even this much to have out!
Perhaps the SFA might be afraid that UEFA might take action against them and the national team if SFA personnel were to be found implicated in the fraudulent granting of the licence?
I think whole thing stems from the evidence given by the former directors during Sir Craig's trial.
Whether they let the cat out the bag inadvertently , or feared a charge of perjury, who knows.
But that was the starting point to this , and it is an open and shut case :lolhuns:
They didn't have a choice but be honest, Donald Findlay had their emails.
When Res12 was handed over to Celtic in December 2016 after the guys had taken it as far as they could the advice given to Celtic was wait for the CW trials. What came out raised a few lawyer eyebrows.

Paul 67 in his CQN blog today re: SFA charges -

" If the charge stands there cannot be a token punishment. I expect a multi-year European ban."

Is it true that UEFA can't do anything because they are time limited?

Does anyone really expect the SFA to go out on a limb and hand Sevco a ban from Europe? Can't see it.
There is no statute of limitations for breaches of UEFA rules if corruption involved.

In addition there is a good argument SFA should have gone to UEFA in 2014 when presented with information that required further examination. That delayed eventual approach to UEFA in June 2016.

That's :) it folks.

Looking like September earliest for the new hummel gear for Bears, they are not happy... by the time they cash in on Gerrardmania he'll be five points adrift and tiring of his Travelodge lifestyle.

But at least Big Mike is out the picture :)
