Knew Neil McCann a wee bit growing up, was a bellend before he ever signed for the huns. re: Celtic interest, story I heard off one of his family was that we were interested but not willing to pay either the transfer fee or the wages that the huns were willing to pay.

Celtic fans already have their side getting to a tenth title in a row and if Rodgers fails to secure the title next season - against a rookie boss no less - he'll be on the first train back to England pleading for a job somewhere.

Classic hun fantasy. Points out how unlikely it would be for rookie Gerrard to win the title, then decided it sounds so good that it's gonna hppen. Enjoy the close season lads, it's going to make the winter break seem like the epitome of rational thinking .

Me and my band were doing a gig near Glasgow a few years ago.
At the break he approached me and asked if we were available for a wedding gig.
I replied that we didnt do sectarian songs and required the fee upfront without tax free promisory payment schemes.
He scowled and about turned.
True story.

We were not willing to pay the transfer fee, the wages or the side contract EBT scheme which Rangers offered and was subsequently deemed illegal and led to Ranger being liquidated and having to apply to re- enter the scottish league in the bottom division. In doing so , the SFA, doing them a favour, as Spartans were ahead of Sevoc in the queue for a place in the scottish league. Mr McCann now has to pay back his EBT plus interest. eff him and his big nose.

Any Scots or Irish catholic who signs for that mob, knowing what they know, ought to be ashamed of themselves. A Celtic supporter is even lower again and as for Mo Johnstone; wouldn't spit on the guy if he burst into flames You can’t judge footballers by your POV as a fan. Most young footballers today have little affinity to teams - they play all the time so don’t go to games.

If Phil's letter is genuine the football authorities have a duty of care to investigate this.
When I saw it, my first thought was, "Well, that looks real..." I don't have contact with auditors - is it common practice for them to sign letters with the name of the company and not the person signature of the person who wrote the letter? I say shenanigans.
It's on Companies House. It's 100% legit. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/SC437060/filing-history15 July 2015, Auditor's resignation Douglas "Ireland" Park - The huns will not be happy could even be "puur dead ragin'"
At least Glib is keeping the "dignity at all times" by living on Coronation Road - Then again being him it is no doubt a lie.

Donald Findlay on Gerrard asking Dave King about money for transfers, “Would you get a straight answer from the Rangers chairman? And if you did would you not question it anyway?
TOP BOSS Rangers should have approached Rafa Benitez, Sean Dyche or Eddie Howe over Ibrox job… Steven Gerrard is ‘a gamble’ says former vice-chairman Donald Findlay Findlay is unconvinced by the appointment of Liverpool legend Gerrard and says Gers should have gone for more experience
Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor DONALD FINDLAY says Rangers should have sounded out Rafa Benitez over replacing Graeme Murty. Former Gers vice-chairman Findlay admits he is unconvinced by the box-office appointment of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Burnley manager Sean Dyche and Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe should also have been sounded out according to Findlay Rookie boss Gerrard, 37, will begin his role in the Ibrox hotseat from June 1 having had no previous managerial experience. And Findlay – now Cowdenbeath chairman – says the Light Blues should have gone for a proven Premier League gaffer. He told The Scotsman: “Steven Gerrard is a gamble. “I would have gone for more experience and banged on Sean Dyche’s door or Eddie Howe’s and said: ‘This is Rangers, you can be kings here.’ “Or, though I don’t know if he would have moved, said to Rafa Benitez, ‘Come and look at Ibrox’, and taken him straight to the trophy room. “All that history and tradition. “But my biggest concern is whether the new manager, Gerrard in this case, will be given the money he needs. “Would you get a straight answer from the Rangers chairman? And if you did would you not question it anyway? “I’m afraid I don’t think Rangers are going to return to where they were until the present lot are cleared out lock, stock and barrel.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2631294/rangers-rafa-benitez-sean-dyche-eddie-howe/

Moon Rocket speaks, "Whatever way it goes at Ibrox for Gerrard - and just like 12 months ago I expect that Rangers will take the title from Celtic - his arrival has quickly reminded everyone that Rangers are the only show in town". Steven Gerrard appointment put Celtic back in their place and proved Rangers are the only show in town - Ibrox bloggerOur Rangers blogger gives his views on what Gerrard should be looking to do this summer. Spoiler: click to toggle ByJames Black Steven Gerrard's appointment as Rangers manager had the entire world talking about Scottish football for the first time in years. It quickly reminded everyone that, for all of their success under Brendan Rodgers, Celtic are very much still playing second-fiddle in Glasgow. The Liverpool icon's imminent arrival has generated headlines from Los Angeles to Tokyo, and pretty much everywhere in between, and is a genuine box-office signing that is going to make next season much more interesting for both sides. Everybody has been talking about the Rangers manager - with some of the biggest names in football tweeting their congratulations - while Celtic securing seven in a row barely merited a mention outside of Scotland. Celtic's fans have even spent the week since Gerrard's appointment - and their side winning the league - talking about little other than the new Rangers manager or some fairytale involving SFA licences. With Gerrard is yet to take charge of his first game, nobody knows how it is going to work out for the 114-times capped former England star but whatever happens, his appointment has put Rodgers under far more pressure to deliver than going up against Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha or Graeme Murty ever did. Celtic fans already have their side getting to a tenth title in a row and if Rodgers fails to secure the title next season - against a rookie boss no less - he'll be on the first train back to England pleading for a job somewhere. There have been some absolutely wild names thrown about as possible summer signings when Gerrard arrives at Auchenhowie to take charge on June 1. While the likes of Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres aren't likely to be spotted strolling down Paisley Road West any time soon, someone like Peterborough United's Jack Marriott could be a perfect target for Gerrard and Mark Allen. The 23-year-old hit the net 33 times Posh in the 2017/18 season and reports have said there is interest from Ibrox in the former Luton striker. Gerrard is almost certainly going to want to make huge changes to the squad of the summer and bringing someone like Marriott, who has potential to make an immediate impact and move back down south for a much-increased fee. If Alfredo Morelos is to move on in the summer Marriott could be a perfect replacement for the 21-year-old Colombian striker and should give Gerrard someone in his side who knows where the goal is. It would be big step up for the striker from England's League One but if Allen can negotiate a good deal with Peterborough he could prove to be a fantastic signing. There will also need to be some genuine, proven talent brought into the squad over the summer with a couple of central defenders and a quality creative midfielder something that has been sorely lacking. Getting a name of the magnitude of Steven Gerrard to Scottish football should be something that is going to help get the level of players needed to launch a serious title challenge to Celtic next season - even if it doesn't necessarily mean seeing some of Gerrard's former team-mates suddenly appearing in blue. With only three weeks until his arrival in Scottish football, I'm genuinely struggling to remember a bigger signing in Scottish football than Gerrard's - Paul Gascoigne 's signing in 1995 is the last really big one - and the eyes of the world are trained on Ibrox to see just how he gets on in his first managerial role. Whatever way it goes at Ibrox for Gerrard - and just like 12 months ago I expect that Rangers will take the title from Celtic - his arrival has quickly reminded everyone that Rangers are the only show in town. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steven-gerrard-appointment-put-celtic-12519819 That can’t be genuine

That can’t be genuine The rectum gives the floor to deluded zombies on a fairly regular basis. It allows them to put in print what the laptoployal would love to see published under their own names but simply cannot stomach the pretence themselves. It gives vent to the annual zombie delusion fest, bless.

Clearly he doesn't know that between Los Angeles and Tokyo is the Pacific Ocean. At least we know that Frank Zappa's son supports Sevco. There are tribes in Polynesia who have never seen the white man.
But they're buzzing about Gerrard going to Ibrox.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Thing about McCann was the singing caught on video. You can argue about a professional doing it for the money but to then join in like a proper DOB means there can never be a way back! Feck him, feck the Huns, feck the zombies
Can you imagine a guy from an Irish Catholic family from Greenock selling his soul, bad enough signing for them but singing there songs of hate! how do you face your family how do you live with yourself, I personally think that has shaped him into the twisted wee shampooe he has become, his loss My memory is hazy on this but was McCann actually singing on the video? I seem to recollect he was just in the picture beside Findlay as he(Findlay) was bawling out the songs.
