Wouldn't surprise me if they signed McGinn. He's given Broony a decent game a couple of times and those stupid bastards are absolutely obsessed with stopping Brown (fairly or otherwise).

Wee Barry still believes that there will be "more investment" coming into rangers to help Gerrard and "As far as I’m concerned second’s not acceptable for Rangers.
That said, when you look at all the turmoil at Ibrox this season, I would be absolutely delighted with second place
".

Rangers won't get near Celtic with £6m and Steven Gerrard has to have been told more money is coming - Ferguson
Barry Ferguson insists Dave King needs to start acting and stop talking to ensure the new Ibrox boss has the funds to mount a real challenge to Brendan Rodgers' side.
Spoiler: click to toggle
They're as thick as pig shampoo. King more or less has admitted that little or no money is coming for transfers. They are living hand to mouth and have given their manager job to a famous novice to sell season tickets. They are trying to sell on as many players as they can to cut expenditure, The share issue can't happen when king is there as far as I know. But still there is investment coming and a huge war chest to turn things around. Dumb bastards, it's a never ending circle.

Aside from the fact he's a Celtic fan* they couldn't afford the transfer fee.

Wouldn't rule anything out based on that alone these days but when your granda is the former chairman of the club you're fairly steeped in it. For once I think BFDJ might be right about something.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. BFDJ may also be of a mind that signing McGinn, given his provenance, is a bad thing (even if the huns could afford him which they can’t).
Wee John will not be going to them. Bad enough his grandpa, but wait to see his mum and dad react if it was proposed.... not to mention all his mad uncles!!!

I actually think that's the main reason they want to sign him. Daft effs.

Any truth in the rumour that SG hasn't actually signed anything ? Met a guy last night who said he'd heard a whisper that SG isn't completely tied in yet.

Fair enough the likes of McCann getting all that cash signing for them, but I still don't see how it's worth it. You only have one life and to be forever associated with an organization like that is a massive price to pay.
I'd sign for them for that money.

...... I mean I'm 52 and was terrible at football in my early years so I figure I'd be doing everyone else a favor anyway. I'll take the hit for the good of the wider community.

Is it true one of McCanns uncles never spoke to him again after he signed for them?

You still want that marble staircase, don't you. Good plan that, worm your way in as manager. Maybe take a stair home with you everyday under the pretense of an extra polishing and some light wax on wax off work. Those clowns will lap it up and Bang!!! before they can smell the turd on the bottom of their brown brogues you'll have the lot, stairs and banister shipped and installed into a wee far eastern beach bar of your choice.

i thought on day it was announced, the initial reports stated he had 'conditionally accepted' the position.

Any Scots or Irish catholic who signs for that mob, knowing what they know, ought to be ashamed of themselves. A Celtic supporter is even lower again and as for Mo Johnstone; wouldn't spit on the guy if he burst into flames

I love the idea that Gerrard wouldn't agree to become their boss if he wasn't promised a big budget.

The Huns in work still believe Tavernier is their best player. Sums up the quality they have. And the job Gerrard has on his hands. They need a completely new team.

Murphy was loan to buy. Cummings was loan to buy. Dorrans is utter guff. Bruno Alves is hilarious. McCrorie is rotten.

This is a club so desperate for players they brought Halliday back from Azerbaijan.

I iive in England so not always up to date with the Scottish press. Is there any ex Celtic player who as a regular column whose sole purpose is to pass comment on all matters Celtic and nothing else? I can think of 3 ex hun players whose sole purpose is to pass comment on all things Sevco - BFDJ, Monster Munch and Captain Trackie. I know there is Davie Proven but he passes comments on any club/issue as he sees fit. is there a Celtic equivalent of BFDJ on a Glasgow newspaper? A Celtic leaning commentator on all things Celtic? Or is it all just a one way Sevco propaganda exercise?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deeph
They found Shergar????????
Wouldn't matter if they did , Derby is for 3yr old Colts , even Sevco at 6yrs wouldn't qualify for entry. :suspect:

ScobieBreasley.CSC :rocker:
Always thought the Derby was for technically for 3yo Colts or fillies, although fillies typically run in the Oaks, which is fillies only and over the same distance.
Likewise the 2,000 and 1,000 guineas.
