There’s claims that Cardiff and Burnley are willing to bid £3million for Windass. Can’t see why they would waste that sort of money on a guy who definitely isn’t good enough for the Premiership.
Cardiff fans think Sol Bamba and Callum Paterson are great players. I can easily see why they'd spend money on a donkey like Windass.
Fortunately for Cardiff, it's not the fans who choose which players to buy.
Did the fans buy Bamba and Paterson ? :ponder:

Even if they managed to find the money, there is no way John McGinn would sign for them. No chance.

Can anyone really see McGinn signing for the huns?
I'd be very surprised if he went there.

I had the joy of listening to a Sevco supporter today talking about them signing Wayne Rooney...apparently he has been seen talking to Stevie G and everything so it's a done deal. This was about 15 minutes after listening to Radio 5 talking about Rooney going to Washington to play in the MLS. Of course my Sevco supporting friend didn't think that was likely

Neither him nor Hibs will turn down more money from an English club. And the Huns are not matching any offer to come in from the Championship, both in terms of fees and wages.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if they got a bit of money for Windass - he's been a decent performer for them, and there will inevitably be some interest in him in England because of his dad.

That said, there's no way he's going to the Premiership. He'll likely end up somewhere like Ipswich, given the success Waghorn has had down there.

I know but it in the unlikely scenario they did get a bid accepted I think it would be a difficult decision for him

Ipswich don't have £3mill (the alleged buy out clause)

They are completely skint , big Mick has had to work with pennies for years

If the huns had any serious money king would have signed no legs Wayne on a bumper 6 year deal. Ergo they don't

Windass got a new agent this week. Wouldn't be surprised if he was linked with Crystal Palace tomorrow.

Sure, if he felt like they were paying comfortably more than he was going to get elsewhere, I'm sure that would be the case.

Expect McGinn to play a blinder on Sunday as he'll be out to impress his new employers.

Yep

Windass will be looking at McCormack's career. A move every season or two. Sitting on a million quid bonus for Villa getting promoted, despite not kicking a ball for them this season.
