Surely no-one, not even most demented amongst the serried ranks of the wilfully deluded, knuckle-dragging blue hordes, seriously entertained the notion that Rooney might go to Ibrox? Surely!

No issue with their licence from SFA

https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/3584/club-licencing-current-status-2018.pdf

Wonder if UEFA will be as lenient?
:ponder: Odd that, yesterday Phil had UEFA sending back the Sevco application as not fit for purpose.

Are there two lists , one for SFA and a separate one for UEFA, or is Phil off the mark ?

No, some of them did, but since the MLS announcement they now fully understand that they could never afford his wages and he's done anyway.

Rooney was very interested when he was told he would be playing in the 'old lady'.

Was put right on that one ans said, no thanks.

I don't know with regards to this only the the SFA do there's first and this was published today but probably dealt with a good few weeks ago.

Don't know what is happening with the UEFA one and I doubt there will be an issue

That Ge55ad has some job on his hands.
I cannot understand why he would take it, honestly no idea.
Ego, exposure, PR etc... I can't see any possible reasons that actually make sense.
I still don't think he'll turn up, must be some other reason for him willing to be associated with them at this point.
No way he'll actually see it through & turn up for work next season - what reason would he have?
It's a total career ending move, look at everyone else who's tried it & they were better off then.
Madness!
He's not rated.

The other jobs he was considered for went to Robbie Neilson and now apparently Jack Ross.

That's the standard of manager they've hired.

I know they haven't qualified but why were Hearts and ICT refused?

I'm honestly at a loss as to why folk are so puzzled he's taken the job.

MK Dons offered him the job & he wasn't ready. That aside, nothing.

Gerrard has absolutely landed on his feet getting a job of this size.

It's pretty straightforward.

So, he wasn't ready for MK Dons - but is for Sevco?

And you're puzzeld people can't see any reasoning behind why it's a good move?

I wouldn't say he's landed on his feet, I'd say he's being taken advantage of & will ruin his managerial career at it's conception - as Sally etc also did at Sevco.
It's a Manager's graveyard & yes, I'm puzzled as to why a guy in his position would take it. Ego, exposure etc doesn't cut it & a job of this size (I know you don't mean it's a big club or job, but the difficulty)? That's why he shouldn't take it, Pep would struggle.

3 Year deal with a reported 2 million a season wages. Not many people would knock that back.
Also, its a win win situation for him, if he makes a success of it, big if, then he can say he turned round a failing club and will most likely be offered a few mid table english premiership jobs.
If he makes a pigs ear of it, then he can blame the toxic culture at the club and blame the board/players/fans for his failings, then be offered mid to upper english championship jobs.
