The last rights issue was limited due to costs (prospectus etc) wasn't underwritten and was under subscribed
King is trying to have a rights issue of 16M (nett of costs?) before end of June or it's no euro license for them
Isn't he running out of time? or are they exempt from producing a prospectus if they limit the rights to 18M euros
Is the correct answer. Either they get the existing major shareholders to stump up a load of cash in order to dilute their share and convert their debt to or they convince the support to (ok that's been tried and it didn't work) or there's a new stream of suckers out there. Nah there aint and it's pish. And it concerns us not at all as our future is in our paws, we win or lose on our basis without reference to them. The league is ours (on the basis of money) and the only way we lose that is by making a screaming one of it. Were looking at Europe, not to win anything but to maintain a few decent results and be competitive in some regard. Were a big team in a small league, we need to buy, develop, maintain European access so that we can attract those we want to buy and develop and try and carve out some wins to keep us happy.... they have nothing to do with that because they're not in the same game. We miss a season... it's covered and taken care of, miss two, same thing, it's in there plan as has been seen. I aint ever going to be complacent and I don;t think our board will either but I'm looking forward to frankly insane amounts in a row. The idea that we'll get complacent when they appoint our managers apprentice as the main competition and not expect him to step up is utterly ludicrous. ......... after 10 I look forward to Hibs, Aberdeen and the diet huns making it interesting at some point. I fully expect those c**ts to be a footnote in history. I like the cut of your jib!

Keith Jackson with an exclusive on ....nothing. Steven Gerrard makes secret dash to Glasgow to prepare Rangers revolutionRangers boss and Gary McAllister had a VIP visit to the club’s Auchenhowie training base. Spoiler: click to toggle ByKeith Jackson Steven Gerrard and his new-look Rangers backroom team have made a secret dash to Glasgow to begin planning for their summer revolution. Record Sport can reveal the new Ibrox boss travelled north on Tuesday with an entourage that included right-hand man Gary McAllister to make a VIP visit to the club’s Auchenhowie training base - while the first-team squad was in Aberdeen preparing for a 1-1 draw at Pittodrie. It’s understood Gerrard asked for the fact finding tour in order for the management team to familiarise themselves with their new HQ before they officially clock on for the first time on June 1. Gerrard and his group also met with director of football Mark Allen who was left to instruct staff the complex to carry out a number of changes ordered by the incoming regime. Allen told the staff to carry out a series of changes The trip was deliberately planned to coincide with the second placed shoot-out with Aberdeen as it allowed Gerrard, McAllister and co to get to work without interfering with the preparations of caretaker coach Jimmy Nicholl who took the team to the North East on Monday night. Next stop for Gerrard and McAllister is Dubai where on Sunday they will be part of a star studded meet and greet with Liverpool fans at a live screening of the Anfield side’s last league game of the season against Brighton. They will be joined on the tip by former team mate Steve McManaman as part of the club’s LFC World promotion - an initiative aimed at growing Liverpool’s brand throughout the globe. The glitzy beach-front bash was one of the major long standing commitments which prevented Gerrard from taking over the reigns at Rangers until the start of the pre-season, despite officially being presented as the club’s new manager last Friday. But the quick return over the border on Tuesday suggests Gerrard’s mind is already focussed on the task that awaits him in Glasgow. Record Sport understands the 37-year-old is already searching for a new home in the city but that his wife and kids are likely to remain permanently based at the family’s luxury mansion on Merseyside while Gerrard is busy cutting his teeth in management at Ibrox. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steven-gerrard-makes-secret-dash-12506895

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep Ibrox summer deals Steven Gerrard’s first Rangers signing: Odds for Dominic Solanke, James McArthur and WAYNE ROONEY arriving at IbroxThe Liverpool legend was confirmed as the Gers boss last week on a four-year deal and will officially take up the role on June 1 Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor STEVEN GERRARD’S first Rangers signing odds have been revealed by McBookie – and there is some big names on the list! The Liverpool legend was confirmed as the new Light Blues boss last week on a four-year deal. He will officially take up the role on June 1. Gers are currently in a battle for second spot and a place in Europe next season with the fight going down to the wire. And with it set to be another busy summer of transfer activity at Ibrox – McBookie have given odds on who they think will be Gerrard’s first new star. Odds for Gerrard's first Rangers signing Martin Skrtel – 4/1 Dominic Solanke – 6/1 James McArthur – 8/1 Glen Johnson – 10/1 Charlie Adam – 10/1 Wayne Rooney – 10/1 Fenerbahce stopper Skrtel is reportedly the man Rangers want to kickstart Gerrard’s Ibrox revolution. But the Turkish club have issued a hands of warning, insisting they are in no rush to sell their key player. Gers have also been urged to make a move for Everton hitman Rooney by ex-Celtic defender Michael Gray. And ex-France star David Ginola reckons the England and Manchester United legend could help rebuild the Light Blues. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2617574/steven-gerrard-rangers-first-signing-odds-revealed-solanke-mcarthur-rooney/
If Wayne Rooney is as low as 10/1, is ther anyway for me to bet on it NOT being him? I like free money
Yes. Place a lay bet. Betfair permits them. But be aware that you have to lay 10 to win 1. sky request a bet said 'its not something they would offer' just now on twitter to me

I can't see anyone pumping 16 million into the club at this point, if that kind of money was floating about there would have been no need for close. Club 1872 have just over half a mil and the soft loan guys seem to be tapped out. Fans will surely buy some, but £15.5 million worth?
Is there anything I'm discounting there?

And with Cummings deal expiring after Sunday’s season finale at former club Hibs, The Daily Express claim Gers director of football Mark Allen is ready to open talks over a cut-price deal. Morelos could be joined by a number of stars in heading for the exit door this summer. The Daily Express says Eduardo Herrara, Fabio Cardoso, Andy Halliday, Jak Alnwick, Joe Dodoo and Michael O’Halloran will be allowed to leave and could be joined by Bruno Alves. Russell Martin, Sean Goss and Dalco could head back to their parent clubs after their loan deals expire. Meanwhile, Lee Wallace and out-of-contract star Kenny Miller – who remain suspended for their bust-up with axed boss Graeme Murty – are thought to have kicked their last ball for the club.https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2620622/jason-cummings-rangers-talks-transfer-nottingham-forest-alfredo-morelos-reports-ibrox/I'm sure the Liverpool Under 18's coach and his assistant will have no problem with sorting this out to start the revolution.
"Morelos could be joined by a number of stars in heading for the exit door this summer. The Daily Express says Eduardo Herrara, Fabio Cardoso, Andy Halliday, Jak Alnwick, Joe Dodoo and Michael O’Halloran" Aye that's a stellar line up there. Halliday must stay Nooooooo Dodoo must stay

That Ge55ad has some job on his hands. I cannot understand why he would take it, honestly no idea. Ego, exposure, PR etc... I can't see any possible reasons that actually make sense. I still don't think he'll turn up, must be some other reason for him willing to be associated with them at this point. No way he'll actually see it through & turn up for work next season - what reason would he have? It's a total career ending move, look at everyone else who's tried it & they were better off then. Madness!

So Rooney is going to a club who used to dominate the game in their country but now have an awful team and don't achieve anywhere near their glory of the 1990s.
Can see why they thought he'd be going to Ibrox to be honest.
