Got asked a good question there. If King can't get money out of SA, and doesn't have a UK bank account, how has he put in £30m :ponder:
He also appeared in court earlier this year and his lawyer told the court he was penniless, hes a complete and utter sociopath

I think deep down they know King is wired to the moon. They are doing the only thing they know how - blaming fenians, the mhedia, Dundee united, the corrupt state, and ultimately a global conspiracy for the state they find themselves in. The narrative is of a club which simply was not allowed to survive. Plenty of them already think in 2012 Scotland conspired to kill their club so it is no big deal.

I predict by 2020 + there will be two clubs. A hardcore defence of our culture, firework launching shambles, and a dignified, grim, god save the queen incarnation for the blazers.

Skrtel also has a year to run on his contract, can file that under "stuff that won't happen" as well.

McGregor and Scott Arfield are also obviously busts. They won't sign anyone who requires compensation.

They struggled to pay Hamilton the compensation for Greg Docherty.

Can see another influx of loans this summer - youngsters who can't get a game for their own teams in League 1/2 with 1 or 2 has beens looking for an easy pay day before retirement.

Edit: Also the token "boyhood Rangers fan" who makes up for his very limited footballing ability by being staunch. He'll be the one to put Scott Brown back in his place. :rocker:

I can see them signing a so called "big name " who will be well past his best maybe even two and the hordes will react as if the leagues in the bag like they did after the signing of Barton and Alves the last two years. After all they aren't that far behind us.

I suspect a couple of thing firstly he canny open a UK bank account. There are probably a hundred reasons why he can't and also why he won't. His QC did indeed claimed he was peniless when he was instructed to pony up for his 3 bears stunt. So was he just lying as usual or are any funds he has locked up in SA by the SA tax and justice authorities? So I,ll take a guess - if he releases funds from his alleged 'trusts' (offshore trusts i believe) it is likely that he might have a further tax liability over there. Similarly, to open a UK bank account in sterling in this country might expose him to anyone who might want to sue him over here (nae point in sueing somebody who has no obvious source of funds, is there?) . Don't dismiss this quickly as there are serious questions over the soft loans he and other directors put into the kitty to keep the ship afloat. Did he perhaps, borrow the money from a fellow director? or are the new funds from a rights issue going to pay off these loans?
King is all about using other peoples money, not his own, to finance the huns, it is a fine tradition sarted by Murray when he bought the club and continued uninterrupted through the period to liquidation by the bunch of spivs who have been in power. he is not the type of guy who would pick up the bill at Mr. Singhs when they have their dinners there.
And so it continues, he may be prevented by the takeover panel from launching a rights issue but I,m told there are ways round which could be employed by King. There are of course strong clues, straws in the wind through the resignation of directors Murray and Ross. I imagine they are running a mile, they want nothing to do with whatever dodge King is up to.
Regarding his comments on Celtic and the 'one title won by Rangers' is enough to derail the Celtic juggernaut, he disnae half talk some keich. Like the Gerrard move, he is flying by the seat of his pants, talking up the Huns simply because it the only thing he can do.
sufficient to say when the rags were heralding the warchest that Gerrard is going to get for transfers the board were silent. It now seems that there is no warchest, he will get 'what he needs' - aye, right.
Its all smoke and mirrors.I asked the question at the outset 'where is he going to get the money from?' when he appointed Gerrard. I don't think even King knows. What he does know is that neither he nor the club have any and he is on the lookout for any mug who can be easily duped into handing it over. Step forward the loyal bears.......or are they that stupid?........................surely not.

Fatty Adam was trying to talk himself up for a move to Sevco last week.

I could be wrong, but did Gerrard not pretty much say he was shampooe when he signed for Liverpool?

Let's hope he's revised his opinion & it happens though.

I’m on holiday and out the loop. Keep me right re yesterday’s instalment:
- the ‘multi-£m investment’ announced at the Press Conference is really for a share issue to raise only £6m, and which can’t happen anyway as TOP won’t allow it?
- Late last night King told an invited media of what amounts to a public admission of failure, and which contradicts his very own moonbeams made on Friday?
- none of the above has received critical analysis in the MSM?

How am i doing?

So, King's cunning plan is to run Sevco at a loss every year until such time as Celtic implode, Sevco win the league and get through the CL qualifiers, into the group stages. :o

From information supplied previously by Barcabhoy I think - The special dividend of around £14m was payed out on 24th of April and just short of £3m of that was a tax liability on the crystallisation of the dividend .
I think the TOP accepts that the money in an account in S.A. but want it in escrow here - King doesn't need a bank account - a solicitor's client bank account will suffice. :)
Getting the money out from under SARS is a problem ! :ph43r:
