Leaving aside the difficulty of doing a share issue while subject to a TOP ruling as mentioned above

They passed a resolution at their AGM allowing about 108 million new shares to be issued

Assume they are priced at 25p... “selling “ all 108 million shares raises £27 million
However... you then effectively gift shares to the directors who have ponied up loans... deduct £17 million

Take away about £1 million in costs

Pay back Close Bros £3 million

That leaves up to £6 million “raised” in cash after the loans are treated as purchases and converted to shares

And that assumes they can “sell” the shares which aren’t just being converted to equity

Will Club 1872 be daft enough to use whatever funds they hold to buy shares at that price to stop the share issue immediately diluting the value of what they hold ??
Agree with this in principle, Jim, but with a couple of provisos...

- If King just offers the shares to investors, it won’t cost £1m, as there would be no need for a nomad or a prospectus.

- and due to the volume of shares involved, the investors could virtually name their price, which I reckon will be a lot less than 25p.

If King intends to convert loans to equity, there might be nothing left, let alone £6m. Notwithstanding TOP’s intervention, as you suggest. And of course existing shareholders will see their value reduced significantly.
My post was based on assumptions which I think may well be beyond the realms of possibility

The figures just fitted quite nicely

Cognitive dissonance. Doublethink. Delusional optimism. Or just downright, run of the mill, standard issue hun erseholery.

Probably a combination of all four.

The Journey continues.

After pondering the various ways suggested on here and in hun land I think what it's most likely to come down to is

"Club 1872, how much brass do you have? Gie us that and we'll give you a bit of paper"

Viola! Player investment fund.

Imagine your wife took up with a gangster and serious threats were made on your well being at the same time your protector has suddenly been removed from the picture. Then a job offer in another country comes up that removes you from harms way and keeps you in the public eye at the same time.

Would you be bothered about the finer points of that timely job offer?
Has Alex done a runner?
The story about Alex and the gangster is an old one, Gerrard was a young lad at Liverpool at the time. I don't believe it is particularly relevant anymore, it certainly isn't brought up in Scouseland anymore. I work in Liverpool and booze in a Liverpool supporting pub. I think the murder on the St Helens Linkway is a mere coincidence.

Club 1872 will do whatever the board tells them to do and pretend to drag their feet over it, but they've only got about half a million cash and the hun's trust in them is wearing quite thin from what I can tell. I think recent events have already seen a few cancellations, and there weren't that many paying in to begin with.

The Huns are sheer comedy.

After this massive let down, they’re now adding up player sales to top up Stevie G’s warchest.

There will obviously be a massive queue of clubs lining up with open cheque books to take all their shampooe ha ha ha
Their latest ludicrous rumour is that the “real” big news is embargoed until 11pm, hence the damp squib of an announcement earlier. Once again, it’s the hope that kills them.

In fairness to King I am struggling to recall the last time the huns were dealt a healthy dose of reality by the men in the blue room.

No wonder they are in meltdown. They can’t handle the truth.

So much so that they’re now going out of their way to convince themselves that if you add up all their revenues, forgetting the small matters wages and operating costs, there is in fact many many millions for Stevie G to spunk away in the summer.

I seem to remember that they also need 7.8 million just to fund next season.

I hope we will see the court of session having a hearing this week to block any share issue until the TOP ruling is complied with.

"Well I did try" said Dave.

For once, King seems to be the innocent party here. He said nothing last week or during the Gerrard press conference to suggest major investment was forthcoming. If people wanted to believe daft internet rumours, that’s their problem.

Not an expert but is Kingie boy not saying that this £6M won’t be coming from him cos he’s not allow to participate because of his dispute with the ToP?
He’ll cover the losses with a promissory note to the accounts doing the books to appease the football authorities!

My God listening to zombies on podcast who know about the £6M but still thing King is the man

These muppets are incredible, they think that King will eventually comply with theToP but its fine just now cos he’s a stubborn bastard but that’s what they need

They have absolutely no concept of living within their means or wanting to have a sustainable financial plan going forward.

They deserve every effing thing that happens to them

Stand by my guess that Gerrard was being emptied out of Liverpool, nobody else going near him, except that deluded bunch.

It can actually be quite difficult to open a business banking account these days.
Could be even more so given his pas record.

It's just non stop hilarity with that lot =D
I opened a Ltd company account 3 months ago, it took about 30 mins online with BOS, all documentation and facilities were in place within 5 days.

You need an EML certificate from HMRC (money laundering rules) now - mine took 45 days :ponder:

Might be a problem for King right enough
That was kind of my point.
It can take time to open a business account, even for a legitimate business.

For King...well, who can tell.

In any case, he's at it, all a pile of bullshampoo.
This can only lead to further entertainment =D

King compliant media were pumping out signings sanctioned by Gerrard, Gerrard has a list, war chests etc. All part of the con. King is playing mind games with the Huns. Get the fake news out. Over on Sevco media the confusion is at a high. King has the gullible ones exactly where he wants them.
