What is being forgotten also is that Stevie G is a bit of a ned.

Would that temper be able to be held in check?
As long as Andy Halliday doesn't switch off his Lionel Richie CD and replace it with Tina Turner then the dressing room should remain stable...

Lot in media that Liverpool support want him in beside Klopp. Why else would Buvac step aside?
King goes to Liverpool game, hears that Buvac and Klopp have fallen out and that Gerrard will replace him as No 2 next term…

Announces The Rangers are going to offer Gerrard the job on a four-year deal and the press pump out the pish that Gerrard is genuinely interested and that there will be a 20mil warchest…

Season ticket sales rocket on the back of another moonbeam…

Gerrard is offered the position as Klopp's No 2 and, as was always going to happen, takes it.

Huns left thinking it was even a possibility and pumped up with pride that a real big name even considered taking their job.

Huns kickoff the Europa League still under Murty and without their Loan Rangers…

Time laugh it up.

I for one am happy that Sevco are embarking on another project. Be short lived just like them.

Still not buying the Gerrard to the huns chat.

Surely to eff he's not stupid enough to take a job that both the Kilmarnock and Aberdeen manager bodyswerved?

He's only an under 18s coach at the end of the day. I'd imagine he might he go for it.

They have now not updated social media for almost a full 24 hours. That might not sound like much of a thing, but it is virtually unheard of for a wannabe "big" club. It's a basic social media don't.

He's such a big name in football he knows that sevco won't be the only offer he'll ever get.
SG surely appreciates that if he bides his time at Liverpool better offers than a tramp-club in Scotland with demented expectations will come along

The gap is an abyss. They'll have to pass through hell (again) to get near us but they won't.

I can't wait for the next edition of The Rangers. Better than Netflix.
The Rangers, watch them all in the Back in Yer Box set.

OK, OK, I just wanted to see ma trophy... :ffs:

Earl of Leven

They can't stand 'the banter years'....

Quote:

....managed to avoid game yesterday but a few tims tried it on. I responded to one who is a good friend and one thing he said was interesting but backs up what I've suspected for a while.

They HATE the Banter Years. They hate that we have 'taken ownership' of it....that we have jokes before they do....that we CAN laugh at ourselves....that we keep filling the stadium....that there is no scope for comedy as we have it covered.

It is perhaps a Scottish shrug, and some will see it as small-minded - but in fact it is to our credit that we have sailed the stormy seas these last years with a sense of humour, perspective, and loyalty.
Went down well, first response

I feel physically sick when Rangers fans use that term.
Can we just drop it.
Personally I find the current bollocks about folk 'owning' their actions to be the real offender here, that is heavily embarrassing terminology to be spouting.
I think the earl is bang on here
They've taken ownership of Halliday, and he's the biggest joke in Scottish football

Only a couple of huns in my work but couldn't pass up the opportunity to catch up with them earlier.

One was telling me there was a big protest outside Ibrox after the game.

How many were there? I asked.

Oh about 200.

That Gerrard will be another Lennon or Souness is utter fantasy.

The kind of money and players Souness had to work with is miles beyond what Gerrard could expect. The addition alone of a player of the standard of Souness was a massive boost to them and that's before you consider the players he bought.

Lennon inherited some decent players, had already proved himself somewhat at the tail end of the Mowbray season by winning all the post split games and had a good transfer budget after we sold McGeady. He still nearly came a cropper after a disastrous 45 minutes at Rugby Park.
Lennon inherited a load of dung.

McGeady apart, the team was littered with forgettable pish. Kamara, Brafeild and co.
Kamara was class

I'm not reading into it that it is radio silence prior to a big splash, or anything like that.

Just that in this day and age to let your Twitter, FB etc go silent for a full day is not really the done thing, no matter how demoralised you are.

When combined with zero interviews post match yesterday, it is certainly amateur hour.

Traynor has changed tactics so many times he clearly doesn't know what playbook to use now.
