There are no downsides to this for Celtic. Increased interest in the league and the prospect of a better TV deal on the back of that. It will galvanise the hun support, certainly, but will galvanise ours at least as much.

The one thing this has ensured is that the complacency that dogged our "difficult second album" season will not be in evidence next season. Another treble beckons. As does an early Euro exit for Sevco once again. I'm hoping the thick scouser lasts a season.
Good post and exactly how i see it.This will only be good for us certainly in the short term until it inevitably goes belly up. Think Rodgers sees that too and Lawwell will be counting the beans on the tv deal, all positive for next season, would actually like them to have a wee spurt first few games and Desmond makes a splash before Sept 1.Get Eddy signed and a quality centre back and we'll see where we are in January.Putting the hurt on them i expect.

Will Gary McAllister be taking all their penalties, free kicks, goal kicks, shy’s...?
He will. It's his baw :carrot:
Reminds me of my cousin, his brothers used to call him McAllister because he always wanted to do everything first and never gave anyone else a shot on the computer.

Anyway...he's a pumpkin
Mind it used to drive my old boy in particular absolutly tonto. He’s delighted he’s at the Huns, so he can hate him all over again.

This has the ingredients to be the funniest part of the journey yet.

The delusion in the media is through the roof.

What the media hasn’t seemed to have mentioned is that they have today moved a giant step closer to administration.

If he fails as the history suggests he will it is hard to see how they recover.

Not one lesson learned in the media from 2012.

Failure after failure chasing rainbows instead of knuckling down with a low cost model that adds value.

A bad start to the season for a rookie manager and as I say it is hard to see where they go. The numbers don’t add up :)

Had forgotten that Thommo’s free kick at Anfield in 2003 went right under Gerrard

Keep reading about an increase in the TV deal, is it even up for renewal? I was sure it was 2020 as Doncaster the diddy rolled over.

I am very relaxed about all of this noise.
We’re miles ahead already and in the unlikely event that we need a response to anything they do we have the leadership at all levels.

I'm thinking there will be no big investment; Gerrard was the cheapest option to sell the legendary season books and is more than happy to come in as he just isn't manager material. Everyone in the game knows he is one of these mega talented footballers who is dense. They would be shouting from the high heavens if there was some major backer coming in, but it's all pretty low key on that front. I'll reconsider if genuinely good players start arriving, but right now this looks like another disaster for them.

Oh aye, and that hun carrot Ma Baw McAllister as assistant? Eff him an'aw. Carrot :carrot:
Always hated that cocky pumpkin.

Even more so when he sclaffed a penalty into the arms of David Seaman.

Don't mind Gerrard (well... I didn't) but McAllister is a floof.
Really? Gerrard as player was exceptional, and brilliant. A lot of that was due to the fact that Gerrard the man, is a pure dick. Ludicrous sense of entitlement, should fit right in, except that he'll be decried as every fenian bastard under the sun and chased after we've given them their early pumping :i'dstillpumptheclown:

Since a new share issue is fraught with TOP complications and would severely dilute all existing holdings, there are only 2 ways I can see new investment coming in. One is a straight forward interest free loan from someone who doesn't care if he/she sees their money again, or a billionaire looking for a plaything who will buy King out and take the clumpany private, like Chelsea for example.

If there is a billionaire looking for a plaything there are literally dozens of better options ;)

Rumours are Park is looking for £19 million off of Rangers.

Edit - he has resigned, maybe an announcement on Tuesday, just a rumour, so don’t shoot the messenger.
Eh? :ponder:
Money owed in soft loans, issued a writ and has resigned from the board. Most probably bs.
I've *lso been told this----from good source.
We will see soon enough.

There must a be a billionaire out there who wants to put Scott Brown in his place though.

While the rest of the league found that getting a good manager with a decent track record - Rodgers, Clarke, McInnes, Lennon, Levein - gets decent results, the Huns have gone for a guy who is famous. If he somehow succeeds it will be despite circumstance. If he doesn’t, and it really looks like he won’t, there won’t be a ‘Like, Duh’ sign big enough to do it justice.
Levien aye?
