Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Certainly not naive mate, hence why I jumped in as I know what the score is.

My point is why release "instructions" only not adhere to them? Mixed messages.
not aimed at you mate - despite the lack of an email you got on the phone and got yourself sorted

I'd say they release instructions so as to avoid a free for all where they'd have loads of people queueing or ringing up at the same time but they probably don't have the staff numbers/IT infrastructure in there to admin the system properly.
The TO seemed to have prioritised those with Special Season Tickets for relocation. They had two days specifically for anyone in that section to relocate, if they had submitted a form or not.

Tickets purchased for me and the 4 weans, happy days
I’m on the list with the two Bhoys but only got a letter in my name. Went online but it appears only to give the option of adult tickets - were you able to do yours online/phone or did you need to go into the ticket office with birth certificates for the bairns?
Had to go in twice with the kids passports as they lost the information the first time and didn’t issue the kids with client codes, if you can go in first thing with id for the kids and explain the situation

I got a relocation to a non restricted view for me and my two Sons at the tail end of last week.

What I would say is that they said wait for an email, I never got one. I chased it up myself. Then yesterday I got an email stating that there wasn't a relocation there for me. So, basically they are all over the shop. They have claimed that they would do it by prioritising those who applied first, which we were one of the first as I done it straight away, yet they just accepted first come first served guys. Unacceptable.

Its the second time in a few months the ticket office have made a c*nt of it for me. Its a thankless job, but they really need to sort their shampoo out.

What I would say, is if folk are complaining that they have been waiting for years, were you sitting on your hands when Deila was manager? Plenty of relocations then.
If I was looking for a new seat or a relocation I wouldn't be waiting on any letter or email from the ticket office - I'd be ringing them up (the customer enquires number) to try sort it out.

Anyone that thinks that these things are done in an orderly and organised fashion is a little naive...
I chased up by phone several times...each time informed that if I hadn't received an email there's nothing they could do. Applied right away. Got email last week saying no move so far.

see when you put your child on the waiting list did you all do it with your client code? I put my boy on the waiting list under 13 but used my client code. Got a letter offering one but don't get option to buy one online tried to phone ticket office trying to sort this out but I would be as well banging my head against a wall trying to get through today.
starting to think should have made a client code for him is this right?

I had to set up a new client code for each of them and then linked them online.

We were in the 1,200s and got a letter dated 1st June on Monday. Since I couldn’t book kids tickets online I took a half day today and headed into the ticket office - ‘specials’ only remaining. Frustrating but better than nowt, hope relocations go favourably next year.

What is a 'special'?

I was thinking that was one without the Rangers games. . . if so why are we still selling them if we are cutting their alocation?

My son got his first season ticket today. He is moving to Scotland for uni. It's a 17/18 ticket which did not contain games against the hun. Will he get first dibs on these games? I presume he will have to pay full whack if this is the case. Anyone enlighten me?

Yes.... unless it's in the special season ticket areas!

I'm in 115 and hoping to get first dibs if we're really reducing the huns allocation. It's looking likely but I don't want to build my hopes up.

I was in 116 for past 10 years...got relocated a few weeks ago as these areas got priority chance to move (I posted earlier in this thread). We now are in 112 next to Standing Section. The very same day, the allocation was cut at both Ibrox and Celtic Park so I maybe shouldn't have bothered to relocate (hindsight etc).

Last season we got full price tickets for last Rangers game...there are always a small handful on sale but get snapped up pronto. I was in office first thing on day after current concession hoolders had chance to buy their tickets for that match..there are always a few who don't for various reasons plus a smattering of general sale tickets released.

Therefore if you are now in Family/ Special Sections this year, I presume you will get first opportunity to purchase (£49 per ticket). I can't see why they wouldn't offer these to season holders first. In time if this cutting of allocation is permanent, them they might include them within season ticket but it is quite telling they aren't yet. Suggests this might be a temporary thing or revoked yet.

They werent included in the ST as the club feel this situation wont last the next few years. saves the hassle of giving full ST then when it reverts back having to tell people in those sections they cant have a full ST

You don’t get Huns game in league or cup. You don’t get concessions for Hun games. Last season they were 49 per game and those were for the dregs that are left. You’ll struggle to ever get 2 together. 47 for restricted view.

Most important thing is he will be guaranteed his seat for any other match and secures him the opportunity of the 3 match package for the CL - god willing

You cannot buy concession tickets online. Dial the 0141 number mate. I was in the same boat. Wanted another kids ticket as often take my sons wee pal. However they could only offer me a kids in 115. But this meant I'd need to move one of my current books to 115 as kids under 13 aren't allowed to sit alone. So in the end didn't get another book.
