Lovely guy Mick. Always thought some of his best displays for Celtic were in the CL

Downloaded the podcast with Paddy McCourt and Michael Higdon to listen to in the car. Higdon seems to struggle with he concept of speaking into a microphone as you can’t hear a thing he’s saying.

Also some terrible chat.

MG had to work very hard for that 45 mins.

Aye, he was a good backs to the wall defender. Possibly why CL games suited him more.

I had to switch it off. Trying to work out what Higdon was saying required far too much concentration, especially when I was driving.

Just watching the Alan Thompson interview now.

Ginola just beats Lubo as the best two-footed player he's played with apparently - think that's the first time I've heard an ex-Celtic player put anyone above him for that.

Interview ends at the point where he left Celtic as a player. Not one mention of his time here as a coach. Lenny's name was mentioned in passing a few times but he swiftly moved on to other players.

Oh dear

Really enjoyed Thompson's!

A player I remember fondly growing up, especially that goal against Liverpool. Always thought he deserved more than one England call up.

Sutton cut his pubes off and put the clippings in Thommo's wallet in retaliation for another prank. He was low on fuel after training, went into garage, pulled dough out and pubes went everywhere.

Thought it was really odd that it ended so abruptly at the point where he left Celtic.

Probably made it clear beforehand that the coaching stuff was a no go area.

A couple of decent wee bits but too many of the answers were a bit 'stock' for me; the show is at its best when the players open up a little and Thommo pretty much didn't.

I was disappointed that they never got round to discussing the making of There's something about Mary. Never mind aking about working with Sutton and Larsson, i want to know what it was like working with Cameron Diaz. :ph43r:

So we're still no further to finding out where the bodies are buried?!

Yeah thought it was okay. Didn't seem to open up much though, and his answers were quite sharp and short. Definitely didn't open up as much as others have.

Not a chance he's going to talk about that.

Once you get past the first the first five minutes of Ferry asking "do you think it's the same for kids these days" they are quite enjoyable to listen to.

Davie Weir's story about Gravesen asking Barry Ferguson where is best to go for dinner in Glasgow during a game vs the Huns.

Note to self; don’t listen to Si Ferry podcast on the tram again.

Got some weird looks as I was trying to hold back the laughter at that story.
