Fair play to Ferry for making a go of this. He manages to get the guests to be much more candid than mainstream journalists. I've enjoyed all of the Celtic-related ones so far.

Yeah, it's amazing how comfortable they seem to be with him compared to their usual media personality. Even McNamara was nearly in tears at one point.

The Alex Rae one was surprisingly good too.

It's refreshing to see the players able to speak candidly. With SKY and BT these interviews are all build-up focused and sanitised with the usual media cliches for TV suitability. On this the players aren't trying to sell anything and can rattle out anecdotes and even swear if they want. Great stuff.

Younger Lawwell. I think Ferry is signed to them exclusively too. Hence he hasn't been on BT, Sportscene etc.

They have all been really good apart from Barry Ferguson's as he's clearly a simpleton. Mind you, it was funny when Si Ferry was cracking jokes and Ferguson didn't have a clue what was going on.

Charlie Miller - think he might be from Castlemilk.

Mc Namara - thought he was a bit dour

Not seen Hartson yet.

McGeady, Ferguson, Watt where all belters.

I loved when he asked quizzical to Alex Rae 'did you not lose your teeth too in a match' like he had a vague recollection of something like that happening. Knowing fine well he probably laughed with his mate McGeady about it many times.

McNamara (ive not seen his episode BTW) seems a major growler and moody swine.

Pretty good player in a great Celtic team to be fair but post Celtic he seems to have got even dourer (if such a word!)

McGeadys was good...could not listen to Watt far too gadgy a voice! Off after 2 minutes.

Seen Big Tony in Angels on Saturday watching the scores coming in with a couple of pints.

Big unit of a boy. Terrible beard though.

fantastic series, I've enjoyed them all so far. Big John was class the other night " That's Rangers loss". Simon Ferry is clearly respected by a lot of these guys and the way he is able to get them to reveal more is great, clear to see the influence of Tommy Burns on so many of the careers; Mulgrew, Mcnamara, McGeady, Stubbs, O'Dea and Si himself to name a few have all had so much praise for him.
