Paul John Dykes has posted on Twitter that the 'A Celtic State of Mind' podcasts will no longer be 'hosted' on The Celtic Star website.

A few self proclaimed ITK’s have posted something I don’t like but another self proclaimed ITK posted something that I like so I’m going to choose to believe that and write an article destroying everybody that posted the stuff I don’t like before anything has played out to let everyone know what group of self proclaimed ITK’s are correct.

That’s about the gist of it yeah?

All very bizarre. A very poorly written article - juvenile stuff in tone and content. It didn't take long for what seemed a promising venture to hit a bum note.

It will be interesting to see if Jim Craig sticks with it now. I'd have thought he'd take a dim view of developments.

Just my opinion, if I you feel I'm wrong I'll take any criticism on board

I have disliked The Celtic Star from its inception. They began, I feel, with a narrative that we should not talk about Sevco AT ALL. All their cheating, manipulation of the press, lies and general disregard for any rule in existence should, according to them, be ignored as we are to be 'obsessed with Celtic'.

Something of a paradox when you consider the obsession in question. Discussing Hun cheating - and getting really fecked off with it - actually confirms our obsession with Celtic and our desire to have an SFA that is capable of fair play, which it isn't. Every Celtic supporter wants them to be acknowledged as a new club and deserves to know how a convicted criminal is now running it.

No other 'club' would get away with it. Does The Celtic Star have inside information that Celtic FC want us all to 'move on for the good of Scottish Football (especially Sevco)?

There is something inherent, I believe, in most Celtic fans - we won't be dictated to and if we believe you are trying to FORCE an opinion down our throats then you won't succeed.

Another point, most times I try to access it there are so many ads that it eventually it doesn't load. Trying to get a reader view is time consuming in the extreme.

Again, personally, I don't like The Celtic Star.

The attack on other Celtic supporters yesterday - some may believe it is justified, especially when discussing the woeful clickbait garbage on 'VideoCelts - was wrong and, I hope, won't win them any new friends other. Those already following it blindly.will, no doubt, be chuffed with their 'own goal' article.

Do people generally read Celtic blogs and the like? I thought that was a mid 00's thing. Takes me all my energy to read posts more than three paragraphs on this forum. Is there like a competition for hits, is this why the bloggers are all tearing into each other?

I usually check Celtic News Now (& Rumours) to see if there is anything worth clicking on. I always read Phil, his site is free from ads, but you do have to listen to the odd donation request. To be honest, I've donated in the past as it was the only place, it seemed, to stand up to the lies peddled by the SMSM.

Sites like VideoCelts - which is abysmal clickbait fare - and James Forrest (The Celtic Blog) are sponsored by a company called Marathon, as far as I'm aware although not 100% sure.

The Celtic Star's attack on those ITK certainly appears to have been an orchestrated attempt to make out they are one of the No.1 sites available.

Really was an unwise decision to attack fellow bloggers, almost makes it seem like things aren't going as well as they'd like. I won't read anything from them again - not that they'll lose to much sleep over it, which they shouldn't anyway.

It's only recently been explained to me that 'A Celtic State of Mind' actually has nothing to do with 'Celtic Star' . It's a bit like paying someone to put an advert in their shop window, I think . Every day is a school day on the internet for me.
