Thought we were getting Legia.

Could have been worse
They were seeded.

Rosenborg sitting 3rd in their table after 13 games. Not the easiest draw at this stage but there were worse teams in there for us to get.

Rosenborg again. Home leg first again as well.
Currently third- lost three and drew 3 in their opening dozen games or so- 7 points behind the leaders.

Their league is currently very stop and start- due to world cup- no fixtures last weekend- but playing this weekend.

I think they are weaker than last year

Rosenborg were average last season. Not the worst draw by a long way.

For a second qualifying round that's a bit of a bugger of a tie. Should still win, but..... :twitch:
We're playing them at the same time as we did last year.

The fly in the ointment may be the players we have away in Russia

Really don't like getting the match fit teams before our season gets going :(

Still, maybe this year we're able to play with an actual striker against them...

Ok - would still prefer Rosenborg over Trnava

TNS would have been the dream draw.

No we aren’t, we played Linfield at that point last season

Does the Norwegian league stop for the whole World Cup??

If so, they've only 2 weeks of games before they potentially play us.

We've known for ages the players who are at the WC & the dates we're likely to play qualifiers.

Won't make anything any more difficult than what it already was.

If we want to qualify, we'll always need to negotiate these issues.

Get some players signed up, I know it's not that easy - but required none the less.

Us Swedes start back again around a week before the end of the WC - I've a game to go to on the 9th - and wouldn't suprise me if Norway do similar.

Can’t remember - probably Paddy or Forrest

We were lucky not to lose. I remember that much

Yeah, we will do but that draw is made closer to the third round, having four rounds is going to be a killer this year! Not entirely sure we'll qualify if I'm being honest :(
