Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I've seen them all since Charlie Nicholas. Griff is 2nd only to Larsson. And like Larsson he shows the class to tuck away a goal after missing a chance. How many goals did Leigh Griffiths score the season before last? The guy is pure quality.
I love the wee man as well and he is a really good Celtic player who will join the 100 goal club soon but excluding Larsson he is behind Nicholas, McClair, McAvennie, PVH, Cadete, Hartson, Sutton off the top of my head. Probably on a par with Hooper.
To be fair these guys had the likes of McStay Provan Collins Lubo to play off.

Game changer last night.

He's been here now for 4 years, nearly 100 goals, that's a good record for a striker.

Should start on Saturday.

Griffiths is a very good striker in the SPFL. He flopped at Wolves and we should be aiming for higher.
12 goals in 26 league games, 13 in 31 games overall, and that's probably not 31 starts. Flop is very harsh.

Played half a season leaving in January and finished the season joint top scorer for the wolverines.

Of course they haven't in those words. You know as well as I do though there's a fair few on here will throw a street party the day he leaves.

No crusade here. Putting my points across to try counter nonsense digs at him

Most of the criticism of Griffiths on here just comes across as thinly veiled snobbishness.

Didn't he score in the home game v Killie?
He did.

He still missed an open goal from 5 yards at 1-1.

People moaning about me bringing up games in which his misses have cost us despite being challenged to do so.

Conveniently forgetting Dembele sclaffed a pen to go one nil up vs Barca. Got thumped.
Dembele also scored a CL goal that hit his chest on the goal line and overhead sclaffed one into the corner vs City.

Let's put it this way, for all his foibles Griff has a greater array of goals and and attributes that Dembele simply doesn't have.
The only things that Dembele has ahead of Griff is strength and youth, nothing more.

You're anti Griffiths pish got one thread closed, you looking to try again?
Little Norse bridge dwelling type.
It is rich of you to accuse a poster of being anti anyone.

You have had it in for Moussa since he signed. You likened him to Fortune or Balde at one point.

Moussa may have missed that penalty but he also won it. He has looked streets above Griff in the champions league and only the most bitter poster (which you clearly are) would claim otherwise.

I was not keen on some of his off field pish in his past, but for vital scores, noising up the hun and boosting Scotland's population, I like this guy and hope he stays for years to come.
