Ken what you are saying but with more than seventy games a season and the subsequent injuries and loss of form that inevitably brings we have to keep an open mind. Some folks wanted just two strikers on board season just gone in example, I never believed Brendan thought that despite his intimation. I think we need four goalscoring forwards on board moving ahead.

The squad rules these days, an injury here or there and we are goosed in Europe, we need a stronger pool than we have been seeing.
I think Morgan will be a good squad player. Will get several games but I don’t see him being first choice.
Yeah, agree there in Lewis' case, maybe even until January working with first team then Loaned out as we've seen with Ryan and Ajer. But we will need players for each position, I think we got caught short in various areas of the park.

Morgan may be useful squad player, but I've seen him a lot this season and he's got loads of promise but is a fair way off a first team starter.

My St Mirren Buddy  ...Has told me similar says he has got bags of talent but wouldn't be up to the Celtic first team just yet.....

Then again few weeks of training with better players and under a coach like Brendan Who knows??

Wonder if he’ll be loaned to Sunderland if the St Mirren manager goes there?

The third tier of English football? If that’s Morgan’s level, he should be nowhere near our club. I’m sure it’s not though.

CalMac went there for a season and came back ready for the squad. More about getting the first team football and developing than anything

Morgan’s a couple of years older than McGregor was when he dropped down to that level for some game time. He’s already been allowed to stay at St Mirren on loan for six months since we signed him. He’s either good enough to play for Celtic or he isn’t. Endless loan spells at his age are a waste of time.

Morgan - two-footed

Going by this, he can use both his right and his left.

I have to say, I thought he was left-footed when I saw him play - but I've only watched highlights of a couple of St Mirren games (and then only to see what the kid is capable of) so I'm about as much an authority on this as I am on quantum mechanics or Chinese literature.
What are your thoughts on the double slit experiment?
If there was ever a good reason to derail a thread, this is it. Wave or particle? Quantum or Continuum? Hun or good guy?

Were Wolves in that league when we signed Griffiths from them? :ponder:

See how he does for us in pre-season and the early games, then if he doesn't look like getting a regular game over the course of the season I'd have no problem with sending him to Sunderland for 6/12 months. Far bigger club than St Mirren, better quality opposition than most of what he faced in the Scottish Championship, a side that should be favourites for promotion and a manager who'll almost certainly give him games.

Looked fearless

Need to be careful not to coach that out of him while we make him more tactically aware
