Waste of time. We’d have been as well signing our first choice Rivaldo Coetzee, even with his career threatening injury, for all the good Compper has done.

Cannot see anyway back for him.....as mysterious a signing as we have ever had.

Signed by gaffer, got injured, played a game then dropped and injured again. Especially with the inconsistency of our centre halves....time to go marv.

So the last three centre backs we've signed, or almost signed are Coetzee, Compper, and Hendry. Genuinely these three are the best we can come up with in an area of the pitch that has needed strengthening for years. Good job, Congerton.
