Always the sign of a quality player that he can make a silly mistake and recover his composure to play out a good solid game. I've seen too many who simply make even more mistakes and their game falls apart.

Don't think he gave the ball away again....also free's up KT to push further forward so all good for me.

Big Virgil is the best at that , makes mistakes and just continues like he thinks he is the best defender in the world.

Makes lustig look like usain bolt. Nothing learned from that performance as not troubled.
You're about as subtle as that other clownshoes. :brickwall: Nothing but stupidity to contribute.

He was absolutely solid after what could have been a nightmare start and was totally comfortable with the ball at his feet, which immediately gives us options. I'd play him next week without a qualm. But then, I don't think the zombies are that much better than Morton. Any concerns I have about next week have to do with us, not them.

He's comfy pinging the ball about and has already picked his pass before the ball gets to him. Seemed to be qute verbal as well.

Solid debut,as mentioned upthread gives the back four better balance being a natural left footer.

Had virtually nothing to do defensively and was never pressed in possession so nothing really to judge him on today. Kept it simple and will be pleased to have got through 80-odd minutes unscathed.

Needs games but could give us a bit more balance at the back.

One slack pass aside, looked very calm and capable against an admittedly poor forward line. Just glad that he got the best part of 90 minutes.

Hard to judge him on the 45 minutes that he played today against Morton, but nice to see him get a run out.

Today will not prepare him for next weekend, small crowd, limited atmospehere today and the other end of the spectrum next week.

In BR we trust. If he feels that he can do a job next week that's alright by me.

Jack Hendry has played more first team football than Comper but I feel that Comper would cope better with the pressure than Hendry and looks more mobile than him.

I'm new. Be gentle.
There is nothing like giving a guy a chance in the “normal world” is there? . The hawfwits that relish shooting somebody down afrter one game really rip ma knitting. Reminds me of Jansen must go , after two games when he was manager.

Looked comfortable but a bit stiff, unsurprisingly. If Boyata is fit, he'll get the nod in a fluid back 3-4-5.

Commper's time will come.

He was completely fine. A few good passes forward, 1 moment he looked dodgy but might not have been entirely his fault.
