I expect with a better manager you'd see an improvement in his performances.

Hopefully a new manager could get more out him but I fear he's finished.

Unless the new manager has healing hands - he's finished.

He can barely run and has been injured since we signed him. Good player but injuries have taken their toll now.

The sooner Janko is fit the better.

He did day in the summer that he wouldn't be fully fit for a year, so that may be part of it.

I know Janko's been injured too, but I'm sure that between Efe and whoever plays right back for the development squad we could have rested him for a game or two.

Its like all the power has gone from his legs, that he stands a matter of willpower. He does offer something to the team in terms of fight and a degree of organisation.

He could work in a back 3 as St Ant said in recent CU podcast
We've tried him several times at centre half in a back 3 and back 4. He was woeful.

Sadly, his injuries have taken their toll. Another who needs replaced in the summer.

if we had any sort of cover at right back Id be tempted to put him in 1 and play him as a centra half to try and get some form of organsation in there with Erik.

Hes goosed as a right back for us

He is no longer the player he was. Looks slower, less powerful, does not push himself into a full sprint.

His football sense seems to have gone too. Before, he was dependable and quite resilient.

Why??
He's playing in postion he should be,picking up a decent wager every week

Why would he play better under a new/better manager :ponder:

At one point he was easily our best player, if he wasn't so injury prone he wouldn't be anywhere near us.

He looks effed now though but I still hope that him and the likes of Armstrong are just hindered playing with our tactically clueless management/board/club.

Lustig in the early years looked very promising , has never been our best player.

Doesn't matter how clueless RD is on tactics, he's getting played in his postion :ponder:

I preferred him when he could only last 60 minutes.

Was easily our best player for a spell.

When he first joined he was average at best.

Everyone can be playing in position but if no carrot knows what they're doing your team won't play well.

I always thought he has been competent for us at centre-half. He's certainly no worse than Ambrose and Boyata.

Tied to his new contract until summer of 2018 so will be around for a while yet unless someone buys him which is unlikely.

He's finished and is now a liability at the back and going forward. McGinn had him on toast. Going forward, he doesn't even try to get to the line, which means he's crossing from well outside the box and his crosses are easy meat for any big lump of a centre-half.

Just plain average. Seldom horrible but seldom shining either. He´s only 29 though, so a bit early perhaps to make him a coffin.

At what time was he our best player ?
Lustig was at his best before his first serious injury , sure it was s European game he picked it up , there were far better players in team back then

Maybe the captaincy has been too heavy a wight on his shoulders.
