He was very poor going forward today , Couldn't get any of his crosses of the ground just kept hitting the first man .
Big fan of Lustig but he has lost so much pace last year or so and delivery has been vastly reduced to quality of old..

Still a very very good players but cant help see the injuries and time out have reduced the player who first came to us.

Role model in many ways. Never moans or drops clangers in the press.
He lost the best part of a season through injuries which led to the recruitment of Adam Matthews, whom we were far too quick too offload.
Sometimes guilty of poor positionong which is because of his attacking instincts. Lucky to have Brown beside him. Scott usually drops back when Lustig attacks to cover just in case, as Joe Ledley did with Izzy. Those were good tactics by the Lennon team. Seems to slot in very comfortably when called upon to so a shift in central defence. He's survived afew wanabes during his time with us. As mentioned, Adam Matthews, Fisher, Janko. and now Gamboa.
Good to have in your side.

Two year deal would be ideal ....Like him to stay at least one more year seems to have benefited from Rodgers medical staff!

Agree with that. Been here a long time, knows what the club is all about and remarkably switched on to all that for a foreign player. Looks like he's primed Erik.

Any word on the injury?
Posted elsewhere, but I saw him this morning and he had no visible sign of injury. Not wearing any support or boot. Walking normally. Spent a lot of time on the phone to soemone talking Swedish, so I hope he was phoning in to say " minor ankle knock, cannae play for Sweden"

Was a shocker of a studs up tackle right on to the ankle, not even a foul but. :suspect:

The amount of injuries he's had I don't blame him fearing the worst when someone does him.

The :nono: would be better aimed at the ICT player and the ref.

I was way over the other end and never really seen the tackle and only the reaction, it looked really serious and then he walked off
