Don't understand why he plays centre back for Sweden against top strikers yet we play him at right back hopefully we go 3-5-2 in domestic footie.

He wasn't jumping very often last night when high balls were coming over which could be a concern but he was solid and had a good night.

Really any time I've watched Sweden he always seems to be centre half must always have Injurys n bans then shove him on the middle looks composed and should definitely be considered to play there going forward.

Played very well last night, and was a calming influence next to O'Connell. Thought he had a smashing game.

No longer an attacking threat. That's fine because he is good at defending. Could be a revelation at centre back.

To me, Rodgers his playing to Lustig's limitations. Having him bomb up and down the same as Tierney does is just asking for the guy to get injured. He's great experience that is great to have.

I think he's done well at centre back too. Don't think there is a rush now to buy another one, him, Toure, Svitatchenko and Simunovic. Punt the rest or at least get them off the books.
Agree with most of that although I would like us to keep Boyata.

He'll have his indifferent moments as the season wears on but his experience and flexibility will be vital for us over the piece, as they usually have been in his time here.

He moves into the middle of theres a substitution that means moving players around but it doesn't happen often. I read an interview with him that said he'd like to play there when he was older but don't have a lonk for it.

that's fine, you can drink some Chablis with him as long as he's not in our defence.

He is solid as a rock. When Eric is fit again we will have an excellent first choice back four
