Costa Rica have 2 players called Joel Campbell and Patrick Pemberton
The east coast of Central America was settled by large amounts of English speaking slaves escaping from British colonies in the West Indies. Hence loads of Costa Ricans, Nicaraguans, etc. with English names like Joel Campbell.

Nice to see the pros take a shoot out with their mate as seriously as we do. Although poor Ramos will still only be remembered for sticking that one into orbit, when it comes to penalties.

Not English as such, but Irish, apparently! I remember when Joel Campbell first surfaced a few years ago people were saying he could play for the Rep of Ireland as his grandfather was an ex missionary priest from Roscommon!

This was on the internet of course....... Still, I've heard dafter things

Isn't one or two touch football a natural part of just about any training session of any football team?

difference between Spain training it and just about any other team (bar Barca) is that when Spain trains it, it is defensive training, where any other team would use it as attacking traning
