My previous point still stands. Not saying he was crap just overhyped and never the best player on his team
Madness to say he was better than Bale. The only thing he outperforms him on his crossing with the inside of his right foot, and that's more of a consistency thing. Bale's pass to Marcelo with the outside of his left should have been the best thing about the final if it weren't for his insane winner. Add to that his heading ability, pace, free kicks and goal scoring and you'd have to be a plastic St George's bowler hat-wearing English muppet to think Beckham even comes close. You don't have to be a bad player to not be in the same league as the likes of Gary Bale. Aye, not being as good as Bale is hardly an insult. Beckham was runner up in the Ballon d'Or, twice runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year and in 2004 he was named by Pelé in the FIFA 100 list of the world's greatest living players

I didn't rate Beckham until I saw him against us at CP (can't recall who he was playing for) and my opinion changed - IMO, he was superb that night, always found space, played some superb passes / crosses and strolled through the game - he showed why he was rated so highly.
My previous point still stands. Not saying he was crap just overhyped and never the best player on his team They all had different attributes though
Beckham is arguably the best crosser of a ball there has ever been. His right foot was a weapon. When he moved into CM he was still top class.

Here's hoping that they take this into next season and the players really believe it. If they believe they can improve on fifth they may give rangers and Aberdeen a game, constantly, and mean that the shape of the league is not all down to games against us. If Steve Clarke signs well, starts well, there games will be good to watch and open up the "race for the league".
CHAMP AT THE BIT Kilmarnock can challenge Celtic, Aberdeen and Rangers for the Premiership title says Billy Bowie Killie ended the season in fifth place after a remarkable turnaround following Clarke's appointment last October
Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor KILMARNOCK chief Billy Bowie believes Steve Clarke’s men can challenge for the title. The Rugby Park side ended the season in fifth place after a remarkable turnaround in fortunes following Clarke’s arrival last October. Killie beat both Celtic and Rangers as they established themselves as the Premiership’s surprise package. And when asked if the Ayrshire outfit could mount a title bid in the near future, director Bowie told BBC Scotland: “Yeah, I would like to think. “We’ve got to be modest. Yeah it would be great if we could do it next year but who knows? “We’ve really just got to see when the players come back how we play and how the other teams have fared up.” Meanwhile preparations for the upcoming campaign are well underway, with a staggering NINE players released last week. Club captain Smith was axed after making just four appearances in an injury-hit season. Former Celtic goalkeeper Leo Fasan, midfielder Brad Spencer and ex-Bolton hitman Alex Samizadeh are also leaving Rugby Park. Loan stars Aaron Tshibola, Aaron Simpson and Jasko Keranovic, who arrived last season from Aston Villa, Wolves and West Brom respectively, have all returned to their parent clubs. Youngsters Ursene Mouanda and Thomas Dempsie have also been released. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2714985/kilmarnock-title-celtic-aberdeen-rangers-billy-bowie/

I don't think they'll be in the top six next season... If they can make the right signings they will be. Clarke's reputation as a coach might persuade a few English clubs to loan them decent youngsters again.
Us, the sheep and the huns should all be top 3 again next year. Hibs will struggle a bit with players leaving, but ought to be somewhere between 4th and 8th. Hearts could finish anywhere from 5th to 12th. Dundee and Hamilton will stay in the bottom half, and I can't see St Mirren or Livingston doing anything special.
The last three places in the top 6 will be between Hibs, Hearts, Killie, Motherwell & St Johnstone again, same as this season just past. Like I said, with some sensible signings (and keeping Clarke for the season I should add) they'll have a decent shout for fourth, or maybe even third if Gerrard's as good a manager as I expect him to be.

He's just become an Israeli citizen He'll have no problems getting work visas According to the Guardian, the Government have confirmed he can visit as an Israeli passport holder for up to six months but won’t be allowed to work. He’s also shelved plans for the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge, so we could be seeing a billionaire strop and the end of Chelsea as a top tier club

In his first season with the pros at Atlético, Fernando Torres played with Jean-François Hernandez, the father of his team mate Lucas. JFH disappeared in 2003 in Thailand and no-one has ever heard if him since.

They at worst will be sold to some other billionaire.
London club, decent players and swinky area with credible recent history unfortunately like it or loath it...im the later.
Government doing the right thing here for a change but they will survive in their current format give or take unfortunately
