He surely is going to get jail time now? He has already been tagged ffs

Seems like a total bam the amount of trouble he gets into....one of those guys that just seems to cause trouble wherever he goes.

Has he been in trouble before? I had no idea he was a wild yin. :ponder:
I think this is his 4th offence. Kicked a cop in Coatbridge last year.

Sporting Lisbon 'Ultras' broke into their clubs training ground. Few players and staff battered. Bas Dost has a head injury and now out for the cup final. The players are refusing to play and want their contracts terminated.

Good article summarising the madness

That's absolutely shocking! If some of their players terminate their contracts we should be sniffing about though, some very good players at that club

Ryan Gauld doesn't seem to be making it with them. Worth a look? He's still only 22.

As expected, Fifa and Infantino pursuing the same greedy ventures as their predecessors.

Quote:

Manchester United and Liverpool set for new Fifa club cup worth £100m

Manchester United and Liverpool are in line to be invited to take part in a new 24-team Club World Cup which could earn the clubs more than £100 million.

Fifa is pushing ahead with plans for the new tournament to be held every four years, with the first to take place in June 2021. China is understood to have already expressed an interest in being the first host nation.

There would be 12 clubs from Europe and Fifa’s preferred option for the first edition of the tournament is to invite those clubs who have won at least three Champions Leagues or European Cups. That would include Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Ajax and Inter Milan. Juventus would also be invited on the basis of having won two European Cups and two Intercontinental titles.

The three other European places would be selected by a separate process, so far undetermined, with other leading clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto, Benfica, and Borussia Dortmund in the mix.

Uefa remains the biggest obstacle to the plan going ahead however — it is furious with Fifa over the proposal as it fears the new tournament would impact on its main earner, the Champions League. The Premier League is also strongly opposed, believing that Fifa should not involve itself in club competitions.

DFB not happy that Ozil and Gundogan visited Turkish president Erdogan in London today. Spokesman said that the work of the DFB in intergrating immigrants into football society has not been helped by players action. Now calls for players not to be selected for Germany.

Both are in the preliminary WC squads.

Özil is far too important to Germany to be dropped.
