Have we not missed the opening league game before to participate in a meaningless game such as this? Will be right in the middle of potential Chsmps league qualifier too

Unless I am missing something, Chelsea seem like the least suitable "big" English club to attract to Dublin to play one of these "glamour" games.

Good to see the sands of time haven't eroded the skin of the addled old carrot Moore. Mind he got dropped on his head? That was a good laugh.

Jay Rodriguez’s attempt to clear his name after a Football Association charge of allegedly racially abusing Brighton’s Gaëtan Bong will start on Wednesday, when the West Brom forward appears before an independent commission at a Wembley hearing that will also be attended by Alan Pardew. Rodriguez strenuously denies the allegation that he used “abusive and/or insulting words which included a reference to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race” during the game at the Hawthorns on 13 January. The former Southampton striker claims he merely referenced the Cameroon defender’s “bad breath”.
West Brom have made their stance clear in a statement. Richard Garlick, the director of football, said the club are “fully committed to backing Jay throughout this process”. Rodriguez is also expected to call on former managers for character references as he seeks to prove his innocence.

DC United are about to change hands in A deal that values them at a pretty surprising $500m.

Quite a few old Irish Chelsea fans. See the odd tricolour at SB as well. The right wing element is just their hooli mob really.

Don't know the answer to this and it's a genuine question. It's probably been asked before but I can't remember it being asked or the answer. I

Given Sevco* ban on the BBC meaning their managers and players don't give interviews etc, to the BBC, and certain folk are banned from Ibrox, (limiting their capacity to undertake their job) I would assume that is a fundamental breach of the BBC's contract with the SPFL for league games and league Cup games and also the SFA for their Cup games. This assumes, of course, that someone has the good sense to make it a contract condition.

Is money held back from them due to their ban?

The ban has been in effect for a long time and whilst it now only impacts on league and Cup games (TV and radio) in the past it impacted on BBC Alba matches when they were on every second week as part of their journey.

I think it’s only Nosferatu that’s banned from Ibrox. The BBC I’m sure then decided that they wouldn’t let any of their reporters attend Ibrox until that was sorted. As it’s kind of self imposed, that’s probably the get out.

Since when did yellow cards get rescinded? Was there an appeal? Is there a process for an appeal?

Can of worms if you ask me.

Dives & mistaken identity are the only yellows you can appeal
