Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I don’t remember much other than his goal, I think it was the 12th
minute, and that we drew 1-1

I was in the Rangers end of Hampden and actually had a great view of the goal from behind.

Aye, was in the same end. I was 13 and begged for cash from my maw for a ticket to see Pierre. Either my memory isn't correct or the sound in the clip isn't doing it justice but I remember it going mental when he scored.
I didn’t watch the clip.

Agree though, the place went mental when he scored. One of the few highlights of that season.

Pretty grim reading, that. I've never met Rix but I've always thought he had a "kind" face. Horrible, horrible person.

His sidekick is another piece of muck...

Williams, 68, joined Chelsea in 1979 as youth development officer. He left in 2006, having gone on to work as assistant manager under former boss Claudio Ranieri. He joined Leeds as technical director in the same year but was dismissed in 2013 after sending an "obscene" email containing pornographic images to work colleagues.

Rix and Williams not just bullies, they are predators, actively targeting vulnerable young people for this kind of abuse. What's depressing is that this will not be an isolated case. Historically (and not-so historically), football has had a wholly inadequate level of safeguarding and given coaches a tremendous level of power over young players. We should all know by now where this road leads.

Spartak Moscow have just posted a tweet of a couple of their players training with a racist tagline. WTF is wrong with people?

Russian clubs have a long and sad history of racism, casual or otherwise. It doesn't augur well for the World Cup.

Unfortunately, racism is generic with these carrots. They will try to sweep it under the carpet during the World Cup, but hopefully they will be exposed for the racists that they are. FIFA and EUPA have no balls, otherwise they would not be in the competition, let alone hosting it, and none of their clubs would be involved in the CL or Europa League.

Also have a long history of state-sponsored cheating, bribery and kompromat, which is most likely how they got it in the first place.

Unlike Qatar of course, that great footballing nation...

Is Donald Trump the Spartak Moscow president and/or in charge of their Twitter account ?
This is actually one of these things, though, that you have to look at a few times to check it is real. What do the players in the picture think of it, being lampooned, to put it very euphemistically, by their own club in this very twisted way.
