I assume Heskey was trying to play a 1-2 there.

I'm just as surprised Kewell didn't tear a hamstring during the filming....

Does anyone know if football clubs take it upon themselves to do drug testing of their players ?

A Championship footballer has been jailed for 18 months after he was found guilty of punching two men in separate nightclub attacks.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine, 23, who has a previous conviction for knocking a man out in a Carlisle pub, punched Wednesday fan Daniel Beresford in the Paris Bar in Sheffield city centre in February last year, breaking his nose.

Arsenal do, Wenger has a very strict set of rules his players have to follow. I think it might be somewhere on this thread.

Just been reading that he's peeved off with Wilshere as he was caught smoking outside a London nightclub.

I was wondering , mainly if a player had ever been grassed up by his own club and subsequently dealt with by football authorities because it probably wouldn't be in a clubs own interest to hang one of their own players out to dry if they caught him in random testing and perhaps would rather want to cover it up.. The Mutu , Bosnich and Kolo Toure cases I think were down to FA testing or a media sting in Bosnich's case.. Probably what would happen (depending on how severe the club took the incident) is that they'd privately take the player out of football and give him the help required (maybe citing injury publicly) , or if he's a youngster they might for instance stick him out on loan in a far away country where he knows nobody , to see if that can help get him back on course.. Im sure these scenarios will have happened in the past.. :suspect:

What a crappy advert for a seemingly very bad league. It almost seems the vehicles he drives are more important than those totally-not-faked 40 yarders.

Some of the long injuries picked up in training are as a result of this. Apparently.

Harry Redknapp pays a jockey in cash and director box seats for three years in return for tips.
Until Willie McKay informs 'Arry that the jockey is actually a pub potman. T'riffic
