Thought it was quite relevant to put this on here today considering we have just clinched the title against the jambo's. My mate, Trev Cowin, is playing a big part on this Hearts charity which helps out kids.....so if you are from Edinburgh and have free time on your hands why don't you get in touch with these guys at tynie and make a difference to some kids life.......charity knows no colours, has no allegiances other than helping out those less unfortunate than us....keep up the good work Trev my Jambo mate!

I second this. My work is a local charity (Embra) and one of my colleagues met with the Big Hearts people recently about potential joint work, and was very impressed with them.

A "ballboy" at Corinthians has been sacked after simulating during a Libertadores game. He delayed giving the ball to a Universidade Chile player and when the player reacted the "ballboy" pretended he had been assaulted by the player.

Not teally a ballboy but an adult assistant.

Kilmarnock have a 'pitch' layout in the dressing room to discuss tactics, somehow a wee bit different

This is what passes for innovation in Scottish football.

Presumably in preparation for Saturday's game he had all of the outfield starting players squeeze along a line close to that 6 yard (18? :ponder: ) box.

Pure tradecraft.

Before I clicked the link, I was honestly expecting this to be table with a Subbuteo pitch on it. I'm actually quite disappointed :(

Partick Thistle are set for their first top-6 finish since 1981. Of course I know that they've never been a particularly good team at any point in my lifetime, but I didn't realise it had been that long since they finished so highly.

Fair play to Alan Archibald & co, obviously done a very decent job there.

Aren't they the only team not to have taken points off of them this season?

By "them" I presume you mean Sevco? No idea to be honest, but even if they haven't that doesn't take away from the fact that they've had their best season in 36 years.

It also means sevco will be due a skelping off them after the split :)

HB Torshavn beat MB Midvagur (from the 2nd best Faroe Islands division) 18-0 in a cup game today
16th looked offside to me.

From the DR player of the year awards. All other 'journos' picked Scott Sinclair ( Euan McLean picked Scott Brown)

BUT

"GORDON PARKS

JONNY HAYES (Aberdeen): Just has the edge on Sinclair given his importance and impact he has in a Dons side which
isn’t the same when their talisman is missing. An old-fashioned winger who is always looking to get at his full-back and
more often than not has a final ball to die for."

Absolutely hilarious

Not knowing Archibald's leanings and having not seen any of the games between the two sides I couldn't say. Until I know any different I'm not going to tar him with the Stuart McCall brush.

English Championship financial analysis by the Swiss Ramble

Interesting, that even with parachute payments every single team has a smaller turnover than us. Only those with parachute payments get anywhere near our wage bill. Hopefully the myth that we cant compete with Championship teams for players disappears.

Thistle are having a 4 million pound training ground gifted to them by the Weir family.

Brilliant stuff for the Harry Rags.
