Roberto Mancini has revealed he would like to be Celtic boss.
However, the Italian insisted he would only take the job if the Hoops had a team that could take on Europe’s elite on a regular basis.
The former Manchester City gaffer said: “The Scottish fans are the best in the world, I love them so much.
“It would be nice to see Celtic and Rangers in the English Premier League, but I don’t think it will ever happen because it would also be the end of Scottish football.
“If Celtic managed to build a team strong enough to compete regularly in the Champions League, I might decide to manage them one day.
“They have the fans and they have the history. Now they have to strive to  compete at the top level in Europe.”

What was the actual context of that quote anyway? Was there any reason why he was talking about us?

Anyone think its dumb that Scotland's crest says: Est 1873? Surely it should clarify that it means the SFA rather than the country.

In international week boredom, I was trying to think of atypical squad numbers for strikers.

There are many strikers who have worn 7-11.

Gyan wore 3 for Senegal. Kanu wore 4 for Nigeria. Djorkaeff wore 6 for France.

Can't think of any famous 2s or 5s who played up front. Zidane wore 5 at Madrid but he's not a striker.

Anyone think of any?

Arouna Kone wears the #2 shirt when he can, although he has the #9 at Everton.

Milan Baros wore the #5 shirt at Liverpool. Clint Dempsey wears the #2 shirt.

Slightly off topic but it used to really annoy me that Gallas wore the #10 at Arsenal

Hicham Zeroauli and his wearing of the number 0 shirt was the strangest one I can recall.
