pretty sure we did something similar vs rangers when they existed in a league cup final.
we lost 3-2 in extra time but we came from 2 behind including a McClair goal after Tommy Burns flicked it over the wall where McClair was waiting to shoot on goal.

that the game McCoist score a hat-trick?

Remember that goal though was a thing of beauty
25th March 1984 - 2-2 full time and lost in extra time. was my 18th the day before.

huns got 2 penalties. 2nd one in estra time, Packy saved but Sally got the rebound. there other goal was from a McCloy kick out into our box. route one hun football at its best.

down 2 nil. got the McLair goal and then Mark Reid scored 90th minute penalty. Murdo was fouled when about to shoot from close in. the surprise was it was given

My first ever game against the huns.

edit to say there's bit just before this where it looks as though Tymoshchuk asks Ribery to swap jerseys with him, before the game has started. Ribery looks as though he's about to take his top off, whereby Tymoshcuk then pats him on the head.

From a BBC feature on Nottingham Forest:
Quote:

Pierre van Hooijdonk - (Celtic-Forest) £3.5m - March 1997

The Netherlands international remains Forest's record signing, and one of the most controversial characters in the club's history. Unable to prevent relegation from the Premier League in 1997, the Dutchman smashed 34 goals to fire the club to the Championship title the following season. The summer following promotion turned sour as Van Hooijdonk went on strike, angered by the sale of key players*, and on his return was unable to save Forest from an immediate Division One return.

Kind of amazing that Forest were the first British club to break the million-pound barrier on Trevor Francis, and then only ever went another £2.5m. As charter members of the FA Barclayscard Premierleagueship, I found that surprising.

*As if, Pierre... £££

Not really worth a thread of its own so I'll stick it in here - I heard a rumour yesterday that Henrik Larsson is apparently taking up some sort of coaching role at Swansea City.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Pretty sure this was the cup tie that Malky and Di Canio scored.
We won 2-0 then went on to blow it against Falkirk after a replay.

Goram was in goals there, whereas the 9IAR clincher they had Dibble in goals.
Nah it was the 9inarow game. You are right they did just go right up the park and score so understandable many folk have blocked it from memory.

This happened to Posted Image Jackie might have a print of this in his house ;)

Probably not worth it's own thread so I'll stick it in here.

It's the story of how some blogger/twitterer got threatened by some communications director from Liverpool.

The stuff the director was a able to find out about the guy and the lengths he went to are pretty extreme.

Arrigo Brovedani, the 12th-est man E V E R. At 1:30 in the vid below.

The only away fan at the Sampdoria vs Udinese game from Monday this week. And his team one 2:0.

Celtic programmes, early 70's. I've got about 4 or 5 seasons worth, home and away. Theyve been in the loft since i moved in to this house, and in the loft before that. Now I'm getting ready to move again, any suggestions what to do with them ?

Dont want to just chuck them, but I dont want to just give them to the first person on here that wants them, so they can sell them. So if you need any missing from your collection PM and I'll see if I have them( small donation to KDS charity fund ).

Or are there any dealers who buy this stuff ? Havent a clue.
