Ny cosmos to fold and the NASL may follow soon reportedly. Thats the second tier of us football.

Never understood why the cosmos didnt join mls instead of nycfc or red bulls.

Cosmos owners weren't amenable to the MLS salary and ownership structures. They thought they were gonna come along and suddenly it would be 1977 again.

If you live in NY though, you would already go see NYCFC or Red Bulls (or just go see American sports), why pay good money to see lower division football when there is MLS? I remember thinking it was doomed to failure when they did that all star friendly thing for Scholes testimonial.

Probably doesn't help when any city without a franchise in USL or NASL ends up getting a franchise. Minnesota and Atlanta next year, St Louis probably soon. Another Florida team?

If the league folds, that makes Sammy a free agent doesn't it?

Bring him home, Brendan :rocker:

No, pretty much anywhere you go in the world people tend to go to see bigger teams. There's a reason there are 60,000 at Celtic games and a couple hundred at Queen's Park matches.

See this new rule where at kick off there doesn't need two players to take it.Is it applicable to our league because we still have two players kicking off

yes we have done it once or twice.

In the cup final Rogic hit the ball backwards without rolling it to dembele who did not touch the ball at Kickoff

My first ever away match, never had even been to a domestic away match. Went with a couple of guys from school when I was about 17. Was a nightmare to get a drink over there I seem to recall
