Wasn't sure where to post this, found it quite funny
Celtic, as champions, have requested that both Rangers and Partick Thistle games are played at Parkhead first. So we get both derbies at home, just in case neither make the top 6

St Pauli used to host a tournament like that which they called the FIFI World Cup. Not sure if it's the same thing.

St Pauli used to host a tournament like that which they called the FIFI World Cup. Not sure if it's the same thing. It was actually a one-off alternative tournament to the 2006 WC in Germany. The FIFI Wild Cup.
Northern Cyprus won it, beating Zanzibar in the Final. Greenland, Tibet, Gibraltar and the Republic of St Pauli were represented too.

I thought they did it more than once.

I thought they did it more than once. It was St Pauli way to celebrate the WC in Germnay. However, China and Greece tried to get the friendly tournament cancelled, so I guess the organizers didn't want to try a second time.

James Keatings of Hibs got a tattoo to commemorate the moment Hibs scored the winning goal in the cup final.
Only thing is, he tattooed the wrong time.
They didn't score at 3:50pm.

SFA selected disgraced match official to go on first class trip to Qatar despite his conviction for assault in the back of police car PAUL O'HARE
Spoiler: click to toggle POLICE officer Stewart was convicted of assaulting a man while he was off-duty - but weeks later he was picked to officiate at the high-profile match in the Gulf state last month. A LINESMAN convicted of throttling a man was selected by the SFA to join Scotland’s top referee on a luxury trip to Qatar. Police officer Graeme Stewart was picked to travel to the Gulf state with ref Craig Thomson after he was appointed to take charge of a high-profile match. Disgraced Stewart, 30, faces investigation by the SFA ’s referee operations department for the assault in the back of a police car in Glasgow in February 2013, while he was off duty. He yelled at his victim: “You’ve picked the wrong night to f*** with the police” – as on-duty officers tried to stop the assault. Read more: Assistant referee facing red card after attacking man he claims tried to rob him A Hampden source said: “Stewart is being investigated by the SFA but the next minute he is being flown first class to Qatar to represent the SFA. “Any other match official who is under investigation or being eased back from injury would be put to a Lowland League game but he went to the other side of the world, where he was rewarded handsomely. It’s a scandal.” Our source claims Thomson raised no objections to Stewart, of Glenboig, Lanarkshire, accompanying him on the sought-after trip. The pair are believed to have met through the Renfrewshire Referees Association and become close friends as their careers progressed. But the SFA said the decision was made by the head of referee operations based on availability. Stewart made his trip to Qatar just weeks after he was fined £500 at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Foreign referees are typically invited to oil-rich Qatar so the integrity of officials cannot be called into question. But our source added: “Stewart has a conviction for an act of violence and yet was endorsed by the SFA to officiate at a football match where impartiality and high levels of ethics are demanded. “It’s appropriate the match was played on April Fool’s Day as you couldn’t make this one up.” Stewart denied claims at Glasgow Sheriff Court that he “lost the plot” on the night of the attack. A trial heard how Stewart and another off-duty officer were returning from a night out when they were confronted by two men in the city’s Union Street. The alleged suspects were named in court as Charles O’Donnell and Ross McConville. Stewart claimed one brandished a blade and demanded: “Give us the f****** money”. The robbers were said to have then fled empty-handed while Stewart dialled 999. But the PC claimed he and his colleague could not “walk away” and they decided to try to find the culprits themselves. They then swooped on O’Donnell and McConville in a nearby McDonald’s in Argyle Street, wrongly believing they were responsible. Stewart said he decided to become involved after having reservations over how the officers called to the scene were dealing with the matter. He asked a fellow officer for handcuffs to slap on O’Donnell who was then put into the back of a police car by Stewart. PC Lindsey Tait recalled seeing Stewart’s hands “round the neck” of the man while in the vehicle. She said: “It would appear Mr O’Donnell was having difficulty breathing. He was red to the face and had saliva round his mouth.” PC Tait added she had difficulty forcing Stewart’s hands away and yelled: “I’ve got him.” Stewart’s colleagues were so stunned they reported him over the assault. He is also at the centre of a separate Police Scotland probe, which could result in his dismissal from the force. It is understood he is still working as a constable. On April 24, three weeks after the Qatar trip, Stewart made his Scottish Premiership comeback in a televised match between Celtic and Ross County. The Record contacted Thomson, a Stirling-based solicitor, at his office and asked him about Stewart and the trip to Qatar. He said: “I can’t make any comments on it.” Read more at http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/sfa-selected-disgraced-match-official-8067846#EAKfpd4pJgP3zUSw.99

could have made a difference if he played in the europa final back in french squad for euros? Hopefully not. Rami and Umtiti have been called up after Varane and Mathieu injuries.
Sakho in the EL final would probably have scored a goal. But he'd have made his team concede another two or three.
