David Ginola took a heart attack today in France, unconscious but stable according to the media.

He was only on the BT Sport show on Friday I'm sure.

EDIT: Talksport now saying he didn't have a heart attack and that he fell ill whilst playing football in extreme heat.
He's done the whole season as the Premiere League show host on French TV. Thought he didn't look well last time I saw him. Very tired. Hopefully he'll get a full recovery soon.

Wigan fan recorded himself singing 'Will Grigg is on fire' to the tune of 'Freed From Desire' by Gala. It caught on with their fans and the chairman has now given him a free Season Ticket next season.

Belting tune all the same, mind. :rocker: :rocker:
its brilliant. hope we can steal it for next season

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtaYjIkqS1A
I am sure the huns do it for Waghorn

Would love to steal it.

Griffiths on fire....

Odd story in the Irish league

Anyway, Carrick Rangers were clearly kept up instead of Warrenpoint Town as Carrick are a protestant club :o

Skybet probably made him 4th favourite behind Keane for the Celtic job right afterwards...

Confirmed as a heart attack. required a defrib to restart his heart.

Was trying to remember, but how close did he actually come to signing for us, before he went to Newcastle? :ponder:

He's only 49 as well. Had a quadruple heart bypass today. I thought he would have been fit and healthy being a former athlete and still playing charity games.

What a team talk this is.

When you're struggling to avoid relegation going into the last game of the season, the pre-match team talk from your manager has to strike exactly the right note.
And Toulouse manager Pascal Dupraz did exactly that as his inspirational message inspired his team to come from behind twice to beat Angers 3-2 and stay in Ligue 1.
Dupraz's emotional delivery certainly had the desired effect. It moved his players to tears as he showed them a video of messages of support from their families, friends and children.
Toulouse manager Pascal Dupraz delivers his rousing speech before their final match of the Ligue 1 season

Normally pre-match team talks from managers stay within the realms of the changing room or team hotel but in Toulouse's case, this particular one was different.
Dupraz's rallying call was shown on French TV station Canal + with the footage quickly picked up on on social media and in the French press.

Actually, Dupraz pre match talk has been terrible, and nearly got them relegated. Toulouse were completely lost in the first half, missing a soft penalty, creating nothing, and they conceded a goal without any reaction. Toulouse just needed to win to beat relegation, for they were one point ahead of Reims and Ajaccio. But they looked strangely absent, clueless.
His half time talk was much better and corrected his too emotional pre match stuff. It was recorded by French TV behind the closed door. With an unusual quite voice, he said : "guys, I've seen no reaction. You look defeated. Who among you hasn't won a game despite being 1-0 down at HT ? No-one. You all have done that before. Be calm, confident, play our game, give your all, and the result will come."
Dupraz, as annoying as he is, really saved the club who were ten points behind safety six weeks before. But his pre match talk nearly wasted his good work.

Ginola has been very lucky a (not very good) singer reacted well and did the required CPR. His name is Matt Pokora, and you might have seen him playing with Man Utd in a charity friendly against Marseille a few years ago.

The amazing is just before Dupraz brings in Bodiger in the second half. He speaks like a madman, repeating "Bodiger left foot will bring something, I feel it". He looked close to get another heart attack. And then the rarely used sub scores a free kick he wouldn't even dream to.
