The fans of Turkish side Eskisehirspor reacted to their side losing to Basaksehir by setting their own stadium on fire

Probably because they've realised how crap their loanee Cifti has been and his contribution to their relegation ;)

Kenny Sheils was called a 'sectarian name' in a match against Cork.

All a misunderstanding. He was asked for his D.O.B. date of birth

Tuca Ferreti for Celtic? Got sent off for harassing the ref after one of his players got sent off. Then in the press conference after he lost the head and stormed off.

Probably a lot of bollocks. But if there's market there and they think the can make money, I'm sure Desmond and his pals would be interested.
It costs an absolute bomb to get an MLS franchise. The NASL story that went around a while back is slightly more believable given that's fairly cheap. Even Rayo Vollecano have one of those, with a big non-scoring Greek forward strutting his stuff.
New England Revolutions attendance is woeful. Partly because they play in Foxborough which is fine if your the Patriots (given the popularity of NFL and its catchment area) but terrible for football. I feel the Kraft family would be happy to punt them and own them as a mere token gesture. Their current stadium is too big for the team and caverness.

You'd have to move the team to Boston and build them a new stadium for them to be a success. Given Celtic already cheap out on their playing squad, I highly doubt they would build a Boston team a 20000 seated stadium in expensive Boston land with no guarantee of success. Especially given Americans expectation that their stadiums have certain facility/corporate requirements that not even Celtic Park has.

No way they would get a second greater Boston area team, especially given St Louis, Minnesota don't have teams yet and are well supported at the NASL level.

Could maybe see an NASL team given it's way cheaper and far less supported and could be played at a high school stadium.

I'd quite like to go to Boston after watching The Town the other day.

It's an awesome city to visit. I prefer it to New York which I think is over rated, especially when you see it more than once.

Wigan fan recorded himself singing 'Will Grigg is on fire' to the tune of 'Freed From Desire' by Gala. It caught on with their fans and the chairman has now given him a free Season Ticket next season.

Dutch side FC Twente (Champions in 2010) have been relegated due to financial troubles

Club yet to decide if they will appeal, but an appeal could result in them loosing their license - as the relegation was the "soft" penalty to them being ruled against - an appeal could see them getting a harder penalty

Worked a treat in the old CM.

Get a great player for half the price the relegated club paid for him the previous summer.

Would be absolutely amazed if a Sevco song becomes popular with their fans that in no way mention the Queen, Pope or sectarian bile

David Ginola took a heart attack today in France, unconscious but stable according to the media.

He was only on the BT Sport show on Friday I'm sure.

EDIT: Talksport now saying he didn't have a heart attack and that he fell ill whilst playing football in extreme heat.
