Doing the pre-course work for the FA Referees course and it asks you to list 6 items of equipment the ref needs to take onto the field of play. So far I've got;

1) Notebook
2)Pen
3) Watch
4) Whistle
5) Cards

Racking my brain to think of the sixth one. Any ideas?

The spray paint thing for free kicks?
Aye, could be that, I suppose. Never seen it used in northern League Division 2 yet, tho. :lol:

A spare watch? I'm sure I read somewhere that refs have to carry two watches in case the first one stops working, although I might have imagined it.

When you start at level 7 its more of a best practice thing. I'd say matchball or teamlines for booking (unless that counts as being in your notebook).

Zlatan has won his clubs countries title with 6 different clubs but Fifa only recognise he did it with 5 clubs due to Juves dodgy dealings

I think he'll join Ancelotti at Bayern to win number 6! and cement his legacy

crazy diamond

Last Sunday, Marseille fans had a lot of protest banners. Including a couple of huge ones attacking the owner, Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, urging her to "GTF, go home and take care of her children" :ffs:

Today, Marseille is on sale. I wouldn't be surprised if she sold them to crooks. I wonder it could tempt a Motherwell-born billionaire. :hmmm:

Fantastic piece by Christian Wulff regarding Scottish Football and the issues it needs to address before it can move on.
