MLS is going pretty good. Standard of play is getting decent, and it is a competitive league, with no outright favorites in any given year. Last year, Columbus and Portland made the league final, and no body would've predicted that at the beginning. Same this year, no favorites and every game competitive. The designated player rule has helped, as teams generally get talented forwards or creative midfielders, which means defenses are made up of inferior players. Makes for open and attacking games.

I got some news from Mohsni. After his infamous clash with Angers, unable to even sit on the bench he was transferred to Paris FC, bottom of the Ligue 2. A club who's inherited PSG hooligans after their club disappeared. Loss week-end, PFC had a rare away lead in Niort... Until Mohsni conceded two ridiculous penalties, duely scored by Niort. According to a Niort supporter, both fouls deserved a yellow card, but the referee didn't seem to be willing to give PFC an unfair advantage.

As I always say about Rugby League (a game I like, BTW), "it's the game of the people, and the people are dumb". This bloke sounds like a good mix of brave and stupid.

You could fill a newspaper with daft stories about League players.

Google:
Todd Carney bubbler
Michael Monaghan dog
John Hopoate finger
Mitchell Pearce dog
Julian O'Neill shoe

There are a ton more. Honestly, it's degenerate central, but if your comedic tastes tend scatological, you're in for a treat.

Yes... I had one.

I remember the first game it was supposed to be open for, they still didn't have the safety certificate, and season ticket holders were given seats in the north stand. Mine was in the very back row and i missed the first half an hour looking at the view!!

Loved the temporary stand.... Sounded like an express train every corner!!
