A hun in work has just showed me the Bert Konterman goal in extra time against us at Hampden. When watching the video Konterman scores into the "Celtic" end but our end is empty. Is there a reason for this?
sure part of the stadium was closed for renovation
Cheers

Andy Gorams's on the same train as me.
Train is packed.
He's got 2 seats.
Should have sat next to him. He would have sent you flowers. ;)

Of limited interest I imagine but I'm heading off to Lisbon next weekend & planning to catch a couple of games while I'm there. Sporting are at home & although Benfica are away they're playing Belenenses, which is an easy trip. The surprising thing is that the Portugese authorities still haven't released the actual schedule yet - you know what the fixtures are but you don't know who's playing on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday or any of the kick off times. Must be a bummer being an away supporter over there.

Surprised they're not out already. Would guess Monday at the latest.

Belenenses are a very small club btw. Attendances only average about 3000 but would guess they'll get a bit more for Benfica. Stadium is in a really nice spot next to the water on the south coast.

Cheers for that but I'm going to be there over the weekend 7/8 February so all the fixtures still show the default KO of 4:00 on the 7th. I've been checking out the official Liga site for weeks now but it just seems to be the way they work over there.

I've seen the Belenenses stadium before but haven't been in it. The Sporting game is the main priority but Belenenses/Benfica would be a bonus if I can get there.

Not tonight, but it's usually a great programme. There has been plenty of Celts on in the past and Larsson and Sutton are usually standard picks.
