Documentary about Neil Mochan being filmed / has been filmed. Click on the link to see a trailer (maybe someone can embed it)?

Watch trailer for Celtic documentary which tells the story of club legend Neilly 'Smiler' Mochan

GARRY MCCONNACHIE

AS a player, trainer and kitman, Mochan was a key figure in some of the Parkhead club's greatest teams.

CELTIC Football Club have the kind of illustrious history most clubs can only dream of.

Throughout their 127 years they have won numerous domestic titles as well as the 'big one' 1967's European Cup.

Throughout that time, no other figure has experienced as many triumphs as Neilly ‘Smiler’ Mochan.

As a player, trainer and kitman, Mochan was an integral figure in some of Celtic's greatest teams.

A hero of the 1953 Coronation Cup-winning side, top goal scorer in Celtic’s 1954 league and cup double as well as bagging a brace in the record breaking 71 cup final of 1957 against arch rivals Rangers.

Mochan went on to become a trusted lieutenant of Jock Stein after hanging up his shooting boots and was Celtic's first-team trainer throughout the nine-in-a-row era when Celtic were feared throughout Europe, winning their most glittering prize in 1967 on an unforgettable afternoon in Lisbon.

His successes continued into the 1970s, when "10 men won the league" in 1979, and into the 1980s, when Celtic won an emphatic League and Scottish Cup double in their centenary year of 1988.

From the pinnacle of European success to the depths of 1990s despair and the subsequent Fergus McCann takeover, Neilly's 40-year Celtic Park odyssey is now being told in a riveting documentary from Liverpool fan and filmmaker Luke Massey.

Posted this in the refugee crisis thread as well as it deserves more attention imo

St. Pauli are the only German club refusing to join a campaign by Bild (equivalent of the Sun :boik: ) and others raising "awareness" of the refugee crisis by wearing a special badge on matchdays. Bild, like similar UK rags, have a long history of stirring racial hatred with their xenophobic headlines and are now using the refugee crisis as a marketing opportunity. The chief editor made the club's decision public by tweeting "#refugeesnotwelcome at St Pauli. No heart for refugees, shameful St. Pauli!" :nono:

Other clubs are now starting to show their support with #BILDnotwelcome and of course all this comes after St. Pauli invited 1000 refugees to the friendly against Dortmund where all the players and staff wore "Refugees welcome" shirts.

An EA Sports spokesman said the club had been left out of the game after failing to reach a licencing agreement with Rangers.

He said: “We can confirm that we did not reach a licensing agreement with Rangers and they are not in FIFA 16.

"However, newly promoted Hearts will feature in the game with the other 11 authentic clubs from the Scottish Premiership."

Many other german supporters would rather have nothing to do with Bild either. I think everyone including their political opponents is having a laugh of St Pauli of all clubs being accused of "not welcoming refugees" as accused by the chip wrapper.

Dortmund support against Bild

Indeed they did. Bild is the equivalent of the Sun in terms of content and scope...

Paul Lambert picked the best 11 players he's played with on Sky's Fantasy Football Club there now. He went for a 3-4-1-2 formation, selecting eight Dortmund players without even mentioning Lubo :o
His team was:

1. Klos

2. Kohler
3. Sammer
4. Julio Cesar

5. Reuter
6. Lennon
7. Hagi (Lambert played with him in a World XI)
8. Heinrich

9. Moller

10. Larsson
11. Reidle

To be fair it was either Lubo (or any one else) against Möller for the AM spot

Andreas Möller did score 129 goals in 485 league matches and 29 goals in 85 internationals in that position + won the WC in 90 + European Championships in 96 (finished 2nd in 92)

+ was/is a legend in Dortmund
