Ryan Gauld scored an outstanding goal for Sporting B.

Half volley from the edge of the box, leaning back the way, with the very outside of his boot.
In terms of the level of the league he is playing in now, he is playing at a lesser level than the SPL

Pretty sure that the lvl of training must be better than at Dun Utd - but the teams/players that he is facing with Sporting B are worse than he was used to when he played for the Arabs

Wouldn't disagree with you, but the technique on this shot was really special, doesn't matter what level it was at.

Don't think that he has the time to think about how he is hitting it, just puts his foot toward the ball and hopes for the best (to me it seems that he is going for the other corner, but mishampoos it)

Like the amount of really good goals that we conceded under Lennon, just about every time a team scored against us, it seemed to be a wondergoal scored by a lesser player

I disagree with you. Of course he's thought about how he's hitting that. He could have just went right through it with laces, hitting it straight on, but I think he deliberately chose to hit this type of shot.

Beast!

Looks like the Scrabble world championships, and there's a guy with hoops on competing. Anyone we know?

Dundee Utd rumoured to be buying Newcastle Jets: http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a-league/scottish-club-dundee-united-could-step-in-and-buy-struggling-a-league-club-newcastle-jets/story-e6frf4gl-1227151802207?nk=00fbe4238ee6ab7f936b66c6a6c8a519

Jim Spence saying on Twitter that a statement is due out in an hour to clarify it all. Weird one, given that Utd cleared their bank debt earlier this year, and the amount of time it took them to get them to that stage. Thompson must see something in it I suppose.

I can't see this happening. Dundee United nor Thompson don't have the resources for this. David Murray tried it in the 1990s and it failed miserably. I suppose the A-League is a bit more organised than the league was then, but this would have to be a serious money maker for them to be involved. Given it's been on sale for a while, I'd guess it isn't.

Most likely they will move Dun Utd to Australia, TV money are most likely higher and the same is the sponsor money + bigger chance of playing the the (Asian) Champions League
