West Sydney Wanderers beat Al-Hilal 1-0 over two legs to win the asian champions league. The tie tonight was played in front of 110,000 fans in Saudi, & was without a doubt one of the most resilient footballing displays I've ever seen. Can't recommend having a look at the highlights enough. Unreal.
Stadium only holds about 60,000 although this might explain the slightly increased attendance:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/alhilal?src=hash">#alhilal</a> fans trying to get into the King Fahd stadium. <a href="https://twitter.com/theAFCCL_ar">@theAFCCL_ar</a> Crazy. <a href="http://t.co/tb0BuKC62L">pic.twitter.com/tb0BuKC62L</a></p>— footynions (@footynions) <a href="https://twitter.com/footynions/status/528562191331782656">November 1, 2014</a></blockquote>

Might be worth it's own thread but UEFA are doing a 60 year celebration with a vote on the top 60 UEFA goals. A few crackers included in here:

Hamilton Accies get a big write-up in the New York Times about their setup and community programs.
